We hired CBF construction to renovate our Kitchen/Family room area of our home. They severely damaged our home by not properly isolating other areas of the house, their work was sloppy, unfinished, poor quality, they damaged our personal property, they never finished anything and kept wanting more money. We Caught them in lie after lie, the owner assaulted a sub on our property, they said they paid for our quartz in full and come to find out they only paid a deposit. We gave them $40,000 out of a $47,000 project which we now have to find someone else to finish. We never got the counter tops. Electrical work was never completed, they installed the wrong baseboards, the porcelain floors were not laid properly, they destroyed our kick plates and custom cabinets. Poured backwash down our storm drains leaving white paint on the streets and storm drain platform, our driveway and garage are covered in mortar, they scratched our front door and our hardwood floors, dented our $4,000 refrigerator. And the list goes on.They are avoiding mediation, won't provide our attorney copies of insurance or bond information. They failed to comply with city registration and permit guidelines and filed a mechanics lien against us for past due balance? They are criminals, scammers, and we not only want our $40,000 back, we want reimbursement for the cost to correct the poor work, the time our home has been without a functioning kitchen etc in addition , we are seeking damages for what they have done to our home which is also my place of work. I am physically sick over this. We have witnesses, photos. Police reports, emails and texts with lie after lie. The have a history and record of judgements and liens recorded by the state. We need your help! We are seeking justice ASAP and will be reporting to the State licensing and Insurance Agency , City of The Colony, Texas Attorney Generals office, as well as and filing a law suit against CBF Construction, Cory F***** and Laura P****.
