If you are looking for a dog trainer, please DO NOT take your dog there! These people are heartless and abusive. I brought my 2 pound 3 ounce hairless chihuahua to the **********, ** location for basic puppy training. My puppy always follows me, so she isn't used to a leash. Now that she's getting a little older, I'd like to take her out more, so I signed her up for the puppy training package as it included leash and potty training. She was assigned to ***** as her trainer. After meeting with him, he DRAGGED my thin-skinned, tiny hairless chihuahua across the parking lot concrete to get to the patch of grass. Once we went back inside the facility, he PICKED HER UP BY THE COLLAR. I'm not even talking about the back of the neck. He literally lifted her off of the ground BY HER COLLAR. I decided to bring her back home with me afterwards.I spoke with the person whom handles client feedback (I believe his name was ******). That was a complete nightmare. Aside from being extremely condescending any time I brought up facts, he stated that my puppy wasn't well-socialized, and didn't know how to use a leash. He said that is something I should have explained to the trainer beforehand. When filling out the form to sign her up for training, I expressed that I would like leash-training. Not only that, but part of the puppy program includes starting puppies on leash-training.****** then told me that ***** dragged her and picked her up by the collar because she was skittish. Mind you, this tiny dog didn't try to walk away, nip, bark, or anything. She was just scared of this new person, so she would sit and cower. Then (it gets better), **he, himself, stated that they believe IT IS OKAY to pick up a dog off of the ground by the collar.** He even later asked, What do you think collars are for? I could go on and on about how appalling this place is, but I'll leave it at this. PLEASE do not trust them with your dog(s).

3/27/24 - Client booked puppy training program for Thursday April 4th. A 50% non-refundable booking fee ($425) was paid on March 27th. Client was told what vaccinations we require.3/28/24 - Client called and said their vet wanted to re-start their dogs vaccinations, so it was agreed upon to postpone the training and we moved the date to Thursday April 18th.3/28/24 - Client signed our training agreement which also states we are not able to give refunds after payment has been made.4/18/24 - Client called the office an hour before her drop off time and wanted to pay her $425 balance. She was given the option to ********** or wait until she dropped her dog off in an hour.4/18/24 - Client came to facility to drop off her dog with our trainer, whom is a Disabled Veteran, (and is also wheelchair bound). She then told the trainer she "did not have the heart to leave her dog. She wanted to try the training on her own and was not expecting a refund. If she couldn't manage the training, she would bring her dog back.".4/18/24 - She was given a call from the Office Manager to have an option of another trainer who specializes in small dogs to train her dog in the case that maybe she didn't have a personality fit with the trainer she was assigned to. She stated she declined the offer. She then stated she was not comfortable with how her dog was picked up and asked if she forfeited her payment. I told her a manager or owner would reach out.4/19/24 - The owner had not had a chance to call her yet, and she called the office and the admin working passed it up to the owner. The owner then called and was explaining the situation she claimed she felt uncomfortable with. She then started making false statements and got upset. He then gave her multiple offers to resolve the situation. Her husband (who we have never spoken to or heard about until this time) jumped on the call. When it was asked who he was (because his name had never been mentioned at this point) the clients started getting hostile, the husband even threatened to assault the owner.Since these events, she has been threating and harassing us on social media, ****** and other platforms.

I would think twice about off leash. Their integrity is non existent. They bate and switched training on me the day of drop off. I was told narcotics scent training was available but at drop off it was changed to birch wood. Then I have a dog with special needs as he will not eat away from home. I had to BEG for photos and updates knowing my dog wasn't eating for a week. Then they pass the SAME Weight PHOTO as the before and after and even sent me a screen shot of the edited time stamp to prove that they it wasn't edited. Guess they didn't look hard enough because the date the photo was really taken was on their screen shot. I was advised that since my dog had eating issues away from him that I would be able to pick him up without. I have text messages as proof. The biggest thing is that I had a dog with special needs that was away from home not eating and I wasn't getting communication. The owner ****** offered to either do in person training or a refund. The next time we spoke, he was combative and told me he wouldn't issue me a refund essentially because of gossip. My dog is well trained and I got approached by two of ******'s previous clients. They said they were still looking for a trainer and asked if I was available. I'm not a trainer so I referred them to Off Leash. They said that they had already tried Off Leash. I was told I will not be issued a refunded because these previous clients left a 5 star review so I'm a liar in their eyes. ****** mentioned speaking to the previous clients. So I told ****** that I'll reach out to those same clients to verify since they are my neighbors. He immediately said "No, don't do that." Never mind their empty promises of on time updates with photos, videos and refund. It was unprofessional of ****** to include stories of his recent update on his personal childhood adoption but it may explain why he was so combative & rude.
