April, 17, 2023, I hired the company to do my backyard, which include the removal/demo of old patio and replace with 10 X 28" concrete slab; move, cap existing sprinklers around patio and back yard; to till and grade yard to establish a grade toward drain; to lay new sod and unclog existing drain pipe. It was to be a three-day job, but took longer due to not have concrete, and delay in getting sod. When I expressed my displeasure with the quality of the work on the concrete slab, the original framing and to the completed slab, I was told it was not crumbling and was fine (see attached pictures). I advised that the yard had not been tilled or leveled/graded before sod was laid. I was told it would settle; still have large hole from original drain due to yard was not graded. The wires to the front sprinkler system, that are laid around the whole yard were severed, so when I tried to run them, they would not work, I has another company come to check them and was told the wire around the back patio was not working to complete the circuit. So no I have additional cost for that repair. Mr. ***** subcontracted all the work, and never came to check on anything until he thought the job was complete and to request payment. He harassed me with numerous call and text messages. Some were threatening, can provide all conversations we had, include voice messages. The only response I have received from RD Services is a past due bill. No offer to resolve issue or to do the work that was outlined in his original quote/contract with me. I have contacted other companies for quotes on grading the yard and adding sod. I feel that Mr, ***** is not willing to take responsibility for the poor work that his crew provided or to resolve the issue by doing the job correctly. So moving forward, I am not sure how to resolve this issue.
