      Been trying to reach coastal to refund us additional money that was taken from us in the ****** for an overage for gas we were not suppose to be charged and we had the right to make a claim for damage furniture chairs (4 ofthe them).

      On 5/5/22 I reached out to Coastal Transport Moving and Storage LLC to receive an estimate for my moving from NYC, NY to San Jose, CA. My dates weren't concrete until 7/29/22 which is when I initially booked the company. All of my communications were through Andrew O***** who at first, was communicative. On 7/29/22 once I had a concrete moving date, I received a quote of $2452.94 with a pick up window time of 9/10-9/12. I was told I had to leave a deposit of $835.44 through ACH transaction or ***** and could pay the rest with a credit card. Few minutes later,I spoke with someone from customer service to confirm everything. On 8/19/22 I reached out to Andrew to inquire about adding some inventory. No response. On week of 9/5/22 I began contacting Andrew to get a better date/time for pick up. I called the main line ************ and Andrew's line ************ which he previously told me takes calls and texts. I also emailed at ******************************* and also received no response. I began reading reviews of similar complaints. I called and emailed on 9/8/22 to officially cancel services and rebooked a different company. I haven't received any response.

      April 2022, my partner and I were moving from Albany, CA to Boston, MA in July. We reached out to Coastal Transport Moving and Storage to help with our move. They charged $1248.64 on June 2nd, and $148.05 on June 3rd (we added a couple desks to the load). In the same month my partner received another job offer but this time in the bay, so we decided to stay and move 7 miles to Oakland, CA. Our move date also changed to August 20th. I called Coastal Transport Moving and Storage to let them know the different location/date and asked if the price would be different. They said I might be able to get a bit of refund since its only 7 miles away-the movers would let us know 3 days before coming. The day before moving, a lady calls to let us know that the movers will be here sometime in the next day but she had no information on the price. The movers from "Express Moving Network" come the next day and they asked for $3,000.00 more. This was obviously a mistake since we're only moving 7 miles! We tried calling Coastal Transport but no answer, we ended up speaking to the Manager of "Express Moving Network" and paying (directly to them) an extra $764 through Zelle. Throughout the week I tried getting in contact with Coastal Transport Moving and Storage, they never answered and then somehow blocked my number. On august 26th, they took another $1,248.64 out of my account. Making a grand total of $3,409.33 to move 7 miles. I spoke with my bank and they put a block on the check number that they're using. The private client banker then told me to reach out to BBB to see if I could get any help from your organization and possibly some legal team advice. PLEASE HELP!!!

      On August 26 2022 Coastal Transport Moving and Storage LLC took an unauthorized $1219.57 out of my bank account. I tried calling them to see if this was a mistake but when I called there was a recording saying I was out of network after calling my carrier( at&t) I was told the company has BLOCKED my number from all their numbers . My emails have all been bounced back. I have found the originally correspondence and the original check deposit with my bank for service back in June. I have closed my account with Bank of America and have filed a police report.

      Company Contracted with me to pack and move items from my home in MD to my new home in CO on 5/21/2022. Picked up my items 5/21/2022 in a UHAUL box truck with Arizona Lic plate AJXXXXX . After intial contract was signed,executed and my items gone, company drafted several additional contracts that were never agreed upon with varying dollar amouts, dates, and companies and is currently holding them at a storage facility and refuses to deliver items as paid for and agreed. This only after calling 24hrs after contract and demanding more money, which was paid even though my items supposedly have never left MD. When attempting to contact the company recieved the most rude, unprofessional responses that I have ever delt with as a consumer. This company has breached contract and has now attempted passed me through (3) different comapnies promising delivery and each time an excuse is made then a new company is now coresponding as rudely as possible. Hello ******* ****** LLC, ******* ** ******* They have also misrepresented where my items are located (Uhaul Caton Ave MD, Cube Smart Storage Pulaski HWY MD). AS OF TODAYS DATE JULY 28, 2022 60 DAYS LATER MY ITEMS HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED!

      FRAUD ALERTThis company is a scam. They took our deposit and did not provide any moving services. Had a move booked and was told dispatch would contact us 24 hours prior to move. Never heard from anyone and called customer service multiple times with no answer. Had to change my bank account to be sure they could not take any more from us. I want to report them for Fraud and never allow them to do this to anyone else.
