In 2022 we purchased a new AC and heat pump unit from *******. They came out and installed the unit with great care. We even had our ducts cleaned and inspected. Then we noticed some issues, like there was no rain guard over the flex duct from the unit, exposing a critical component of the cooling system to the elements. Then the home wasn't heating. There was warm air coming into the house, but it was never turning off and getting to temperature (68 in winter). They came out and said nothing was wrong. The freeze in February *************************************************************** the living room next to a space heater because their rooms were so cold. Summer 2023 the house was reaching upper 80s low 90s with huge amounts of moisture. They came out and said there was a hole in the flex, put tape on it and said let us know if that works. It didn't. The next day we had another tech come out and check under the house, a 16" duct had been disconnected for months. He zip tied it and we started having cool air again. Most recently I could feel cold air coming from the flex and under the house. Tech came out and had excuse after excuse of why that is normal and said the fact my bedroom is 85 is just poor insulation and wouldn't check the ducts under that end of the house. Our room never gets cool.Business response
