      I applied for an apartment in **********, and even though the leasing agent was pleasant, the end result was not. I paid $450 for the application and deposit. And being I have great rental history and no evictions ever ( and grateful for that) I was told that I would have to pay and approval fee of $890 on top of the rent of $1849, pet deposit $350 and the infamous $175 administrative fee oh and the pet rent and valet trash all due at move in? . You do the math. Now they want to keep my deposit after they surprised me with this approval fee and I decided I was not going to take the unit. Again I have good rental history and no evictions. I only have to 2 collections and they say its 6 as if I cant look at my credit report. To steal from someone using a made up fee is disgusting especially with the inflation taking place.

      While WAK Management of The ********* of ********* ** have been great with speedy maintenance repairs, I am rating them 1 star due to my own personal experiences with them. 1st negative crooked experience was when I lost my pool pass. When I called the office to see if I can get another one I trusted them and they said for $25 I could get another pool pass. I follow the rules, I could had gone swimming without the pass if I really wanted too but I signed a contract and the pool rules state you must have a red bracelet pool pass. The woman in the office didn't give me a receipt which I know now always get a receipt! When we resigned our lease several months later I asked the office if they still charge $25 for lost pool pass. The office woman looked at me confused and said "we don't charge for lost pool pass, if you lose it come get another one" I advised her that the other woman working in the office charged me $25 and if that's not the case, you owe me $25! They said no, nothing they could do to prove it! My next negative crooked experience with them was when they called the tow company to pick up a car that was the same male and model as mine but different color due to the other vehicle was wrecked and had flat tire, the company also towed my car that unfortunately just so happen to have the handicap plaque fall on the floor board. I went back and forth between the tow company and apartment office, the tow company said if the office made a mistake they need to call ** and pay $350 to release your car. I asked the office and when i mentioned the car the office worker says "Oh yeah your moms car we all know she's handicapped, oh no they towed her car?" Anyways they didn't offer to help and deduct $350 from rent. They didn't place a railing on our sidewalk as a result my mother fell and injured herself, when I called they put up railing so quick I wouldn't had time to *** them! They lie, put for money and NO INTEGRITY 2 other negative situations but out of space.

      Summer Hill apt. I have not signed a lease as of yet, but they are giving me the complete run around, I am issued a company car from my employer, they are saying that i have to ask for a parking pass every day because the car is not registered to me. I informed them that it is a company car and it is issued to me.. I asked them what documentation would be needed for them to issue me a parking pass, they said the rules are if it is not registered to you then you have to ask for a parking pass every single day, I told them that seems a bit much.. So i called the WAK management office to see what can be done, my executive manager ask me to ask the leasing office, what would they need from the company stating that I will be responsible for the vehicle, they just said that they would issue a parking pass on a daily basis, but here is the kicker, i get off at 5pm the leasing office close at 5:30pm, how will i make it in time to get the pass?? any suggestions and they don't email them out..
