  In August of 2020 I contracted Calidad Enterprises to install a french drain in my backyard and to connect my downspouts to underground pipe which Calidad would furnish and install and connect all of that to the Farmers Branch sewer line buried in back of my house. Because Calidad told me it was allowed under Farmers Branch city code I approved the project and paid them once completed. It worked well as a passive system until Farmers Branch disconnected my pipe from their sewer line and ran a vertical pipe up to ground level to empty out. This happened around November of 2022 while I was out of town. The drainage doesn't work since water doesn't flow uphill. I asked why Farmers Branch disconnected my pipe from the sewer and they told me that it violated code which I've attached. I contacted Calidad and talked to the owner who came to the house to inspect the work. He told me that he would have the person who did the work come to the house to fix it. That never happened as far as I can tell. I've called numerous times since then and have been assured that my situation is of the highest priority and it will be taken care of. Nothing of any substance has been done to date. I would not have approved the work had I know that it was against code and instead would have had them direct the drainage towards the street. I need the work done properly and to code.

  I hired ** ********** ************ to install the drain pipe to the return in the back yard in 9/2020 I'm trying to get this company to come make changes and they are not responding I have called them again Monday the 20TH and today the 21ST I discussed with the front desk person Hunter ***** is the owner

  Mr. ******** has agreed to the new proposal to repair the drainage at no charge

  I have reviewed the business’ response and accept this resolution.  The remediation work was started and completed on July 14, 2023.  Now I am waiting for the first extended downpour to see if it works as it is expected to.
