My roof leak after replacement and still under warranty. I contracted Service first to replace my roof after hail damages around April 2019. After several missed installation dates the roof was finally replaced on 10/19/2019 which comes with a 10 year warranty against any leak and workmanship per Brian the Owner of Service First Roofing & Construction. After the roof was installed, I reached out to Brian and sent several pictures of visible location where flashing was not correctly installed. On 01/20/2020 I received a letter from the contractor that worked on the roof about not receiving payments after they replaced my roof, and they were going to place a mechanical Lien on the house. I reached to Brian he told me had an issue with them and that's why they haven't come back to address these issues. On 01/22/2020 Brian walked the roof and assured me with text that flashing looks ok and few shingles that were up and will lay flat when we have 80+ degrees days and therefore I shouldn't worry the roof has 10 year warranty. Spring 2021 I started noticing a few drops on the kitchen floor after heavy rain I would dismiss it thinking maybe condensation then gradually it became a constant drip this year (2022) when its rain. I have made several attempts through text, phone calls, voice mail and sent video of the leak without any response.

The issues that the customer references in the complaint did in fact lay down which is typical of a new roof install in the fall and is not the cause of the leak. We are investigating the cause of this leak and will make any necessary repairs to ensure a leak free roof. We were unaware of any issue with leaking until this BBB complaint. Nontheless, we will honor our warranty and get this customer completely taken care of and leak free. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
