Went in on 6/24/2023 to Safelite in **********, ** for windshield and rear glass replacement. Upon pickup, the salesman advised the front windshield was the incorrect item for the car. It would need to replaced again. I would need to schedule a new appointment. I would need to let the windshield cure for a minimum of 10 days prior to changing it out. The rear view mirror trim did not attach and the windshield sat too high allowing water to leak in on the drivers side.Was advised manager would call Monday (6/26) to set up new appointment. No call received. I called store was told Manager would call me back No call received. Next day called store manager unavailable scheduled appointment with original sales person for 7/29 On 7/25 I visited store to confirm they would order the correct windshield. Sales person advised they would order the correct one this time.On 7/29 I dropped off car at 9:30am - advised at 3:30pm that the wrong windshield was ordered and I needed to speak with manager to schedule new appointment. Was advised by front desk that manager would call Monday (7/31) to discuss and schedule.8/1 - I did not receive a call. Called ********** Safelite store unable to get thru to the local number phone just rang Called customer service line @ ************** and explained my frustration Was told someone would get back with me today No call received I called the Safelite customer service line on 8/3, 8/9, 8/10, and 8/11. Every time I was told I would get a call back and this would be escalated to the regional manager. I never once got a call back.One 8/11 I advised that if someone did not call me back to resolve the issue today I would file a dispute with my credit card company. The dispute was active for 60 days and Citibank was unable to make contact with Safelite after numerous attempts. On 4/2/2024 I received letter from Recovery One debt collection agency to recover payment of $1,040.21.Initial Complaint

On Wednesday November 23rd Safelite came out to my house to replace the windshield when he left he didn't say anything and I thought everything was okay till I got to work and the toll tag didn't work I got to looking at it , the front of the toll tag was still there but the back half with the chip in it was gone. when I call Safelite and ask about it they know nothing about it. and if they couldn't get the toll tag off they would have left it on the console and the service man would have told me about it, which they did not he just stuck it back on there without the chip in it so I guess he stole it cuz they say theydon't know anything about it I won't do anything to help
