My fianc and I moved into this RV park on December 15th, I filled out the application online and they did a background check on me. On moving day, I went into ***** office, and signed a few other spotty details, also mentioning the name of the person living with me. The next day, My fianc, ****** met with **** and we spent 20 minutes talking to him. Our camping spot was right across from ***** (onsite manager). He knew who we were, where we lived. Never did we have any complaints, we grilled, had fur babies running around, everything was fine. Until Jan 30 when ****** called **** to complain about our sewage top being broken and also not having our heated hose work. **** got onto it, but then Feb 4th came, hose problem wasn't fixed and ended up flooding the outside of the camper. ****** called and talked to him again, **** then texted me demanding to know who this man living with me was, and made him do a background check, which is fine. He has never not passed. He filled it out and the next day **** texted me telling me he failed and that he had to leave immediately also said he'd call he cops if he stayed in his camper. After calling corporate, they told us we could actually stay, and that they would even take $100 off rent, after making my fianc sleep in a hotel or **** would call the cops. Made us find a new RV spot immediately (that's what the text from him said). We both had to take off work to pack up and move. This was the absolute worst running business I've seen. Because they didn't want to fix the problem, they have ****** move out because he supposedly failed the background check. After learning he had a Twic card, then they changed their minds and wanted us to stay. I have texts and emails proving they had us removed immediately. Making us have to ****** and find somewhere to stay. We paid for February rent and want it back along with our deposit and lost wages for missing work. Emailed ***** from corporate as well.
