I have spent over $7k in this establishment in 2021. I carried a set of steers to them in the spring and all went well so I carried another set on Nov 29. Here are a list of the issues I had this time: 1. Didn’t even have me down to drop the 5 steers off. They forgot. 2. Told me the steers would be all be ready on the 16th. Took a day off work and paid an employee to go get meat and when I arrived the steers weren’t ready. 3. I had 2 of my customers there to pick up there meat as well and I had to apologize to them after they had drove over 2 hrs to get there. 4. I always pay for this service with a lump sum check and my customers pay me. They called the customer and started telling them their meat was ready to come pick up and how much they owed. My customers were calling me wanting to know what was going on. I called CHUBBYS and reminded them that this wasn’t how it works. 5. I along with one of my employees had to take another day off of work and on Dec 20 to go get meat when it was finally ready. 6. When I approached the owner to explain my issues, he told me that if I wasn’t happy then I could take my business down the road. We are all human and as humans we will make mistakes. However, it’s how we deal with these mistakes that separates a good business from a sorry one. I just want future customers of this establishment to be aware that if you do business at CHUBBYS and you have an issue, just be prepared to in CHUBBYS words “take your business down the road”.
