      I bought a generator October 4, 2021. I keep calling ***** ***** the owner, and he keeps giving me the run around. To this day he has never delivered my generator. I put $5,220 down payment.

      I have been using Alford fuels for 2 visits for propane service to my home. 3 weeks ago I called them because I needed my tank filled. ****** who works there told me she cannot give this service due to short staffed and one truck was not working. She stated she would put me on a waiting list but could not tell me when. Last week I called and ****** told me she still could not send anyone but that I could go with someone else. I said ok but let me know if something changes, and she said ok. Last week of 5-16-22 I did look for other companies who could provide the same services. I called ****** and she stated still she could not know when they would come but since I had been waiting she would talk to her supervisor and see if they could come. I asked her how much would it be and she stated $340. I was shocked because I paid $200 last time and she said that's how much it is now. I let her know that I had called other companies and that was too expensive for me and she stated she talked to her supervisor and they could come tomorrow and again I let her know that was too expensive and that I would not need their services at this time, she said if you change your mind let them know and I thanked her. on 5-26-22 I made arrangements with another company to come and fill my tank on Friday 5-27-22 and they made me a ticket and we agreed on the price and the date. On the morning of 5-27-22 Alford fuels shows up and jump my fence without my knowledge and consent and was filling up my tank. I ran outside and stopped them and they had put some propane but I do not know how much. I asked them why they were there if I did not authorize their services. He stated they were told to come today and I let him know this was not authorized by me. He told me I already have the bill and I needed to call the office. I called the office and the supervisor but have not heard back from them. I called the 800# and ****** stated I did tell her to come and that is not true. I called the other co.

      My name is ***** and I apologize for your difficult time with propane. ****** was right about the difficulties of delivering propane these days.  I have been in this business 10+ years and have never seen it this way.  One of our drivers had a wreck in her bobtail delivery truck and it was totaled.  She is still in the hospital.  In addition the cost of propane has escalated significantly just as gasoline and diesel has.  Bottom Line:  We did have difficulties delivering for awhile and I hope you understand this is not a long term problem.  ****** did the right thing to encourage you to find someone else when we could not help.  I know what the cost of propane is and it is unfortunate it has increased so dramatically but I must make an appropriate profit or we cannot stay in business.  I hope you understand and if you have more questions please don't hesitate to call me direct at ************.  Tell us why here...

      I am rejecting this response because:I have never been treated so rudely. I understand that they could not deliver. My complaint is that I let ****** know I will go with someone else and I told her this. The next morning her drivers came to my home without my authorization and jumped over my locked gate and were filling my tank without my permission, they have never done this before. When I have an appointment they call or honk at the gate for me to open. After I let ****** know their price was too high and told her to not come, the drivers came anyway and trespassed onto my property without permission or authorization. I called ****** and she would not answer the phone, also called ***** and I have yet to hear from him. Very sneaky and I had to call the other propane company to cancel because Alford fuels jumped my gate and just did what they wanted without permission. I stopped them and he just gave me the bill just to get money out of me. I did call the police and filed a complaint as well. Why would they do this underhanded behavior when they have not done this before. I am disgusted in their behavior just to make a buck. The drivers jumped the gate again and left.

      Ms. *******,

      We do not jump fences.  When a customer has requested propane we provide.  Many of our customers forget to unlock their gates and we have worked with them for years.  I also add:  Our driver team that day was ***** a 25 year old 6'5" tall young man who cannot jump because of an old athletic injury and *****  59 year old man who cannot jump.  What they do is provide a service you requested.  The propane is in your tank and you must pay for it with no discount.  

      I know each of our drivers very well and hire them because they have a customer centered attitude.  None of them would be rude to you and I resent your implication.  I see this as a made up complaint and you are required to pay just as you have done in the past except the time where someone else paid for you to receive propane.

      For the record, we have delivered propane to your residence a total of 6 times since 2018.  One time you demanded a discount because we did not deliver on time (same day request).  I provided a $70 discount for you but you were still not happy and were rude to our employees and to me.

      You will receive our invoice in the next 24-48 hours.  We expect full payment and we are removing you from our customer list and encourage you to go someone else.  If you refuse to pay then we will take the necessary actions to get payment.

      Everything that this man Mr. ***** is saying are pure lies, his 2 employees indeed jumped my locked fence without my authorization which is why I called the police in this matter. I am not trying to get out of paying or have I ever received a discount from you all. Ever!!! You have not provided that many services to my home and you know it. I never authorized this trip as ****** could not tell me when they would be able to come to my home for the past 3 weeks, in fact it was ****** who told me if I needed to call someone else then just let her know. I indeed did call her & told her I was going with someone else and I did make arrangements with the other company. The fact that your drivers came to my home and jumped the lock gate and put propane in my tank without authorization is wrong and you know it. I did not know they were coming as No One called me as they have done in the past due to my locked gate. Your employees did jump my fence and that is trespassing, which is a crime. The police stated they would give you a trespassing citation and ask you to stay off my property. I also had to cancel with the other company that I made plans with prior to your drivers coming without permission. I stopped them from putting in the propane and told them to leave. I also do not know how much they put because I did stop them. You have been untruthful in all your dealing and do not know what your employees due. Just like when they sold My Tank that you stated you did not know they did that. Then you sell me another tank because your employees sold my paid for tank and you charged me $300.00 dollars more for the tank you replaced after you admitted you did not give your employee who sold my tank without your knowledge. Your employees did jump my fence and that is Trespassing just so you can make a buck is discussing. I tried calling you and have left you voice messages and you refuse to talk to me. You are very discriminatory and I cannot believe you would lie just to get more money. I have cooperated with your company but this is the last time you will treat me with such disrespect. I never authorized for Alford fuels to come to my home, but since you knew I would no longer use you, you sent your employees here and that is wrong. Shame on you!!!!
