WE ARE BEYOND DISAPPOINTED WITH SERVICE, WORK CREW, AND LACK OF SKILLS AND TOOLS TO COMPLETE TASK WITHOUT HELP FROM THE PURCHASERS. WE BOUGHT AND PAID CASH FOR A 16X35 CARPORT WITH 5 FT PORCH ON FRONT AND 10 FT ON BACK. WHEN THE WORKERS ARRIVED 4 HOURS LATE THEY WOULD NOT EVEN START WORK WITH ****** MORE TO ASSEMBLY THE CARPORT STRUCTURE BECAUSE IT WAS ON A PLATFORM ON GROUND. THIS WAS NOT IN CONTRACT AT ALL. THEY GUYS COULD NOT EVEN READ BLUE PRINTS AT ALL. DID ANOTHER JOB BEFORE THEY CAME TO DO OURS AS WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD 1ST ON LIST NOT SECOND NO PHONE CALLS EXPLANING THEY WOULD BE LATE. THEY GOT TO LAKE AND SEEMED TO BE UNPREPARED IN ALL ASPECTS. THE ***** HAD TO BE CUT AND REDONE. WE HAD TO PAY A LOCAL WELDER TO COME AND DO THE WORK. THEN THEY STARTED WORK AT 115PM ON FRIDAY. WE CLOSED BUSINEES TO BE THERE TO BE SURE IT WAS DONE CORRECT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT FINISH THAT DAY BUT BY 2 THE FOLLOWING DAY. THEY KNEW THEY WOULD NEED GENERATOR, BUT DID NOT BRING GAS FOR IT. SO ONCE AGAIN WE LET THEM USE OUR GENERATOR AND OUR GAS (NOT CHEAP AT ALL). THEY WORKED TIL 415 AND LEFT RIGHT AFTER WE DID AT 4. WE HAVE FRIENDS WHO WATCHED THEM LEAVE. THEY ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY AT 9AM OUR FRIENDS CALLED AT 8 AND SAID THEY ARE HERE BUT JUST SITTING/. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO IF ANYTHNINGS. WE ASKED THEM TO SEE W HAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH JUST NOT WORKING. WE HAD ANOTHER CONTRACTOR WHO WAS TO DO HIS PART OF PUTTING PONTOONS UNDER HOUSEBOAT AT 2PM. WELL ONCE AGAIN THEY DID NOT DO WHAT THEY SAID. WE SAT IN CHAIRS ALL DAY SATURDAY FORM 9 TIL 6PM NO FOOD NO SHADE. THEY HAD TO GO BACK TO SHOP BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE ALL THE SUPPLIES TO COMPLETE THE **** THE 3 MEN DID NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE A SQUARE. WOW!!!!!!! THEY PUT ***** TRIM INSTEAD OF WHITE ON BUILDING. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. PLEASE DON'T EVERY BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, WE HAD TO HELP THE SECOND CONTRACTOR ON SUNDAY DO THE **** UNDER HOUSEBOAT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND ****** JOKE. STILL NO CK

30x45x13. Carport covers my RV and a travel trailer. Outstanding company. Outstanding workmanship and communication. ***************** was friendly and efficient!I highly recommend East Texas Carports! I will use them again ******************

Very poor company. There communication is the worst. They will say they will call you back but dont. They will say they will be out a certain day and not show up. They will show up to install your carport and not have everything. They will even show up with the wrong color. I will advise anyone that wants a carport not to use them even though they are a little cheaper in price. I just wish now I would of read more reviews.

Not a good business. Bought a 1650 sq foot building from them. My slab is perfectly square but Nothing on the building is square or level. They didn't even bring a level to the install job. Roof has a sag. Roof leaks and windows leaks. Several holes in the roof from screws that didn't hit the frame. Several areas of the siding did not have enough screws and flap around. My order said a certain qty of anchor bolts would be added and they didn't bring out enough of them. When they came back to add more their drill bit broke and couldn't install them. They said they would come out to fix it and I never heard from them again. Called back and they said they were very busy and would have to work it in. Never heard back. Had to fix it myself. They also pushed my install date back two weeks from when they originally said they would install. I never write bad reviews but this needs to be out there. I would never suggest this company to anyone. Go with a different company, and go with a red iron building not the tube building. Wish I could do over but I cant.

East Texas Carport installed this carport last year. When they anchored it down I noticed that it was not square with the house. They had to cut the anchors and used their pickup truck to drag it to square. All this time I'm trying to communicate with the installers, but no one spoke English, and I do not speak Spanish. It's obvious the installers can't read a tape measure either. See trim pic Fast forward to today. I chose to enclose the carport. East Texas Carport came out to enclose the carport and brought the wrong color trim with them. Told me if I wanted red trim, it would cost me extra. Some how the original order got lost, and another order appeared showing white trim, How that happened, I do not have a clue. AGAIN, no one spoke English, so I had to have things translated over the phone. I ended up with no enclosed carport because I refused to pay extra for red trim, which is what my building had on it. If you use these guys, do so at your own risk. UGH
