March 2022. Took my motorcycle to shop because it had a wobble which is very dangerous on 2 wheels. The Harley shop in *****, ** couldnt find it and it didnt happen til after the Harley shop in *****, ** changed my rear tire. Roughneck Harley found wobble and at the time bike was under warranty. My motorcycle has been in the shop since March and warranty expired in April and they have had a Harley mechanic come from *********, main factory is, come down and look and I have complied with everything theyve ask me to do. They still havent figured out what is causing the wobble and if I take my motorcycle out of the shop the warranty expires and I have a $70k paper weight. They have not check to see if frame is messed up. Either they fix my motorcycle or give me another one just like it.

      Good morning,

After reviewing the situation with our service dir, the service writers and the general manager of our store we have come to the conclusion that we as a store have gone above and beyond trying to satisfy ************** needs. His vehicle is experiencing a "wobble" at speeds appx 65mph+. He purchased the motorcycle at a Harley store in ********, He was not satisfied with their response to his issues. He then took it to ***** Harley and was not satisfied with the results there. He then took it to ******** Harley in ****** He was not satisfied with their work so he brought it to us. We have gone to extreme lengths to try and repair his bike to his satisfaction. We had a Harley-Davidson factory tech come from the factory to the store to ride the bike and diagnose it for us. For this to happen we had to put the bike back to factory specs meaning all of the handlebar modifications had to be returned to original factory the wheels and tires had to be matched HD tires and matched HD wheels. We did all of this work the tech as well as our personal test rode the bike and the wobble was gone. We then went back and put all of ************* modifications back in place and the wobble returned. It was Harley-Davidson's opinion that the modifications on the bike were the issue. Once again I want to be clear that our store did not sell *********** the motorcycle nor did we do any of the modifications. We simply had a customer with an issue and did the best we could to diagnose his bike and advise the customer how to repair his bike that has handle bar modifications, front brake modifications, a dealer installed Harley 131 from the original 114 motor. none of which were installed at this store.

I am rejecting this response because: they put brand new wheels on my bike. I already had brand new tires but they didnt check the wheel bearings or the rim for being straight. I now have scratches on my bike and missing parts. My caliper adapters and screaming eagle tuner is missing. I just paid $1800 to get my bike back not fixed plus the other $550 for tires. I want my parts back and pay for the paint job and wheels. Or give me $3500 and Ill order my own wheels and have someone paint the bike. I had a warranty and the bent rim should be covered and needs to be replaced. It shouldnt matter where I bought the bike that Harley shop in ***** messed up my bike and I thought you could go to any Harley shop and it would be covered.

      Sincerely,
