On May 15, 2024 ***************************** of Just Aqua came to my house to give a demonstration of a Rainbow Vacuum cleaner. My wife liked it and I agreed to purchase it a price of apx. $99.00 a month on a interest free note. I did not get to look at any terms on any sort of contract. I touched his phone thinking I was giving permission to run my credit. Evidently I was signing a contact unknowingly. I was later contacted by a finance company with different terms. The new terms was $287 a month for 12 months to get the same as cash or $99.52 for 48 months WITH interest making the cost of the product nearly $5,000. IF I could have seen a contract with the terms I would have stopped the purchase immediately. I have as yet seen a contract. I believe now this was intentionally done. I have tried to call him and the business to no avail. I called and wrote the home office and they said there was nothing they could do in regards to their reps. I told them this was not good for them either. I realize, being nearly 70 years old, I am not up on all these new slick business practices. I am use to seeing terms on paper before signing. I would strongly advise anyone dealing with this company to be wary or avoid them all together. If this can't be resolved by the BBB I am considering other avenues of recourse.
