      I am submitting this complaint on the behalf of my father ***************************. We are disputing charges from his emergency room visit on 6/30/2022. The charges we are disputing from the itemized bill received are as follows: EKG 12 LEAD TRACING, $255.00; EC ROOM EXTENDED, $2239.00; ** EXAM CHEST 1 VIEW, $460.00.What took place the evening on 6/30/2022 at the ** does not match up with what my dad was billed. I am estimating my Dad's arrival to the ** via ambulance to be 6 p.m. I got to the ** shortly after 8 p.m. He sat in the main waiting area of the ** that was partitioned off with glass for COVID patients. My dad was in pain from sitting, and he was told nothing could be done until the following day. We left the ** at about 10 p.m. I looked over the ** orders that were put in for that evening from patient records. There were some orders that were not carried out. One order was for a patient room. My dad sat for four hours in a wheelchair in the waiting area. No beds were available in the ** department. He was not seen by a doctor, and he was told there would not be one until 7 a.m. the next day. We dispute the $2239.00 charge for a room. Another order in question is for an **** There is no record in his patient chart of an EKG for that day. My dad says he never had leads put on him for an **** We dispute the $255.00 for the **** One other order in question is for the ** EXAM CHEST. My dad is adamant that never got an x-ray despite there being record of it in his patient chart. We dispute the $460.00 charge for a chest x-ray. He says that he had his blood drawn twice. I was there to see him being swabbed for COVID in the waiting area. He had full awareness of his surroundings and goings-on during that evening. We are not disputing the other charges. We ask that the bill reflect services received. I am attaching a screenshot that shows record of my travel for that day and placement at the **.
