      I called for a quote for backflow service and spring sprinkler maintenance. I was quoted $95.00 for the backflow and $90.00 for the sprinkler service. I agreed on the quote with the understanding that if they should have to replace parts or find issues there could be additional charges. I received a bill for the backflow service for $100.00. There was an additional $5.00 surcharge for fuel. I called and spoke to the person who provided the quote and she advised it was standard. I advised her that the price would be $100.00 not $95.00 as was quoted to me for something that is standard. She asked what I wanted her to do and I requested she honor the original quote I was given. She advised she would not and for me to pay $95 and that I would have an outstanding balance of $5.00. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I requested to speak to someone above her such as the owner and she advised, "Good luck with that." She hung up the phone on me. I had an appointment for the sprinkler service for April 4th that I now wanted canceled. I called back and she would not answer. I went to the business location and she advised she sent an email to the owner and again stressed how little luck I would have with them contacting me. I requested she cancel my appointment for the 4th and she closed the door and refused to assist me any further. I will update should anything change. As of now I would highly recommend avoiding this business.

      I paid the outstanding balance because the bill was due. I was still charged the fuel surcharge which is the dispute. They have not communicated with me in any manner. I believe they should refund me the five dollars and that they are being dishonest in their business practices as outlined in the original communication sent to you.

      As stated, this person did call to inquire and schedule services. He was quoted the prices of the services in question. Once he received his invoice, he decided to call and make a complaint about a fuel charge that is established on all invoices. When he called in, he never stated who he was, just immediately started addressing me aggressively. He continued to argue the fee was not discussed when he asked about service prices. I explained that I do not usually state additional service fees such as taxes either. He was also told the owner(s) had been messaged of his complaint. Moments later he showed up to the office. He began arguing once again. Demanding to be allowed in our office and was told no. He was told he was welcome to pay what he felt was fair and appropriate. He stated he was recording me at that time and had recorded our conversation via phone. I then told he thank you but I was no longer going to continue with his arguing, shut the door and finished my day at work.


      The fuel charge has been on invoices for some time now to help compensate the high cost of fuel. We as a company pay fuel fees as well. He is the first customer to take the fee to a different level. I can and will offer him a discount to his invoice for said fee. Had he addressed it in a more pleasant manner from the beginning he would have received a much better response.  I would have expected better behavior from someone of his profession.

      If I am understanding this correctly she is going to refund my fuel service charge of $5? How is this going to be done? Back to my card? When will it be done? I disagree with her account of events but if this is done I will be satisfied with this result.

      The statement from the business is they refunded the amount to the account. I will no longer use this business so refunding the amount to the account does nothing for me. Will this be refunded to my card?

      I do not have nor want access to ********************** credit card. No way to refund the card. It is a credit on the account.

      I am rejecting this response because:   I will no longer do business at this establishment. A credit to the account does nothing for me since I am still out of the fee.
