Both myself and my husband have had dental cleaning done by High Plains Dentistry. I had my teeth cleaned on 3/23/21 and 9/28/21. My husband had his teeth cleaned on 4/7/21 and 7/15/21. Each time the office charged us for what they thought my insurance would not cover and upon receiving the explanation of benefits from my insurance, the amount that they paid to our dentist was always more that the office had estimated. I asked for a statement of charges and an explanation. I never received either. On 3/23/21, I paid $51.60 and the insurance stated I should only have had to pay $27.00, On 4/7/21, I paid $42.60 and the insurance stated I should only have had to pay $27.00, On 7/15/21, I paid $51.60 and the insurance stated I should not have had to pay anything. And on 9/28/21, I paid $99.60 and the insurance stated I should only have had to pay $33.20. I have contacted the dentist office by phone and mail asking for an explanation and refund of the overage. They have yet to even answer me at all. I feel they owe me a combined amount of $158.20 for the year 2021.

If anyone ever goes through tooth pain knows the extent of symptoms you can through. I was referred to Dr. ******* for an emergency tooth extraction that they scheduled me in right away. Front desk was nice, dental assistant was nice and was only trying to do her job. When I was ask if I had any symptoms of concern. I said I had a little wheezing wasn't sure if I it was pneumonia never been diagnosed with pneumonia, never have primary issue with pneumonia only reason I mentioned wheezing was because I didn't want to be sedated during tooth extraction. I wanted the option of numbness and to be awake. Once the dental assistant relayed I had pneumonia to the admitting director, I believe Stephanie was her name, don't quote me on her name. I just remember what she looked like. It became a bigger issue. Stephanie said they couldn't do my tooth extraction bc I told the dental assistant I had pneumonia. I never said I had pneumonia!!!! I had no symptoms of pneumonia. I had night sweats but thats bc of my tooth pain! It was honestly gut wrenching to hear they couldn't take out my tooth especially since im already feeling vulnerable and in so much pain. She said they could take x rays on tooth and prescribed antibiotics and pain pills. But because I have "pneumonia" She needs to protect herself and her staff. They never took my vitals, checked my chest for wheezing, temperature, nothing. I said are you turning me awayy bc you think I have pneumonia. She said, no they can take X-rays on my tooth and start me on antibiotics and pain pills. That doesn't make sense giving me X-rays and treating me but couldn't take my toothout?? I'm extremely upset how they treated me. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a complainer, and don't write bad reviews but I don't not recommend this dentistry to ANYONE! To all my clients, friends, family never go here!!!! I asked to speak to a manager other than Stephanie, she said "I'm as high as you get honey." You can't speak to anyone else!"

Wow!! "The professionalism of that lady!!" If y'all heard of powertrippers. I felt that today with their staff!

I already know the response to this message. They will lie and claim I told the dental assistant I had pneumonia. I have recorded conversation I never said I had pneumonia!!! I don't know how many times I have to say I never had, OR has PNEUMONIA!!!!!

THEY TURNED ME AWAY. I went to Abbeville Denistry, it took 1 min to take my tooth out that same day!
