PTI billed our insurance incorrectly back in January of 2021, we notified them of a change to our insurance policy prior to this and that we were going to need and updated referral, PTI continued to bill the wrong insurance policy for 2 weeks. the money we paid in the first 2 weeks was not applied to the correct policy, and therefore did not apply to our deductible and out of pocket expenses. due to the failure to bill the correct policy we were forced to cover those expenses. we tried multiple times to correct the issue, it was not until approximately six months later did they realize the issue, after many attempts to resolve unsuccessfully we left a bad review on google. **** from PTI then had the front office call and say they would credit us the for the money that was incorrectly billed. they stated they would credit us whether we removed our review or not but asked us if we would be willing to remove the bad review. after several months of not getting our credit, we again left another review to show our displeasure, at this point **** claims the same day we posted our second review that they found the issues with our account and were going to fix it, but it just so happened that our review beat them before calling us. **** then kicked our child out of therapy according to them, not because we left bad reviews of the inept billing practices but because it wasn't a good fit. **** then sent our account to collection without sending as a final bill and we now have a collection on my wife's credit account. upon further investigating I found other people have had similar issues with PTI's billing system, many with the exact issues we are having.
