I have not not had the truck even 30 days and left me and my newborn on the side of the road and then had to pay for a tow truck fee and maybe a day miss 2 days of work I want them to exchange it or fix it completely or just cancel the deal

We have told ************** we will fix the running issue with the truck and have asked him to bring the truck back to our facility more than once. He has yet to do so. Exchanging the truck or unwinding the deal is not possible due to the fact that the taxes have already been paid. He Has an ************** Terrain Warranty That will Cover **************** Terrain (which includes his motor and transmission) but will not fix luxury issues like (remote start). If you will bring the truck to my lot I will gladly take a look at the truck and see what we need to do to get it in running condition.

On March 31, 2023 I purchased a 2018 **** F-150 5.0l Xl SuperCab from GrantzAuto Plaza in *********, ***** for $17,788.90 after tt&l and was told by ******************* that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Within the first 7 days we noticed the winshield washer system was not working and they were notified that at that time that was the only thing found not working. A couple days later we started experiencing acceleration problems followed by raw gas being blown out of the tailpipe. I went ahead and changed the winshield washer motor and pump to find out after disconnecting the battery terminal that the check engine light was on so I had my son connect his OBDII diagnostic tool to see what was wrong and it cane back with misfires in 5 of the cylinders and the camshaft position sensors bad on the drivers side. I notified them via text message with the pictures and I asked why the computer codes were deleted before the truck was sold, ***** reply was "as is". I do not even have the title or my tags/plates yet in the mail and it needs well over $1,000 in parts and labor.

******************* mentioned nothing about a warranty even after *** Grantz said they offer them with every vehicle purchase. I was not being told everything and was basically pushed out the door after purchase.

On March 31, 2023, **************************, accompanied by his son, purchased a 2018 **** F-150 5.0L XL Super Cab with approximately ******* miles from our business. ************************** traveled just over an hour to look at this vehicle specifically because he was very familiar with 5.0s. He and his son test drove the vehicle and, upon return, decided to make the purchase if the price was within their budget. We negotiated the price and came to an agreement. As is our standard practice, while entering the necessary information for document generation, ************************** was informed of the extended warranty we offer on all our qualifying vehicles because it covers higher mileage engines. The brochures for our warranties are located in a predominant place on the desk at which they were sitting. ************************** promptly denied the warranty explaining that his son is mechanically inclined and he knows that engine like the back of his hand and mentioned having to do some work on the Mustang with a 5.0 that they drove to our lot that day. We are not a high-pressure lot and did not discuss the warranty any further. ************************** signed all of the necessary documentation to purchase the vehicle and to transfer the title into his name. Among those documents is an AS IS form in which the purchaser acknowledges they are taking possession of the vehicle in its current condition. No dealer warranty is expressed or implied on any of our vehicles which is why we offer extended warranties.

On April 7, 2023 (exactly 1 week later), ************************** sent a text to ******************* which said: Truck runs great and the only thing I found that needed to be replaced was the winshield [sic] washer pump but thats an easy and inexpensive fix. Which again at the time we never expressed nor implied any warranty on the vehicle.

More than 2 weeks after his purchase, ************************** informed **************** that codes showed up after the battery disconnected and reconnected. Historically, when a battery is reconnected, it should be expected that prior codes would show up if they had not been cleared after the coded repair was made. As there was no check engine light on when the vehicle was on our lot, we had no reason to check for codes, and, therefore, did not delete codes as ************************** alleges. If codes are hard-deleted they will not show up again. When ***************************** spoke with ************************** on April 17, 2023, he was offered the warranty (at our cost) and refused it a second time. Extended warranties are available for purchase up to 30 days after the initial sale date. We are extending that deadline for ************************** for an additional 30 days (60 days beyond his initial sale date). The opportunity for ************************** to purchase the extended warranty at our cost is still available until May 30, 2023.

I am rejecting this response because: The truck was never test driven by either myself or my son and relied solely apon Mr. ******* word about the vehicle having nothing wrong with it and NO warranty information was brought up at the time of purchase for anyone to decline. Dishonesty is a big issue here and it does not matter how mechanically inclined someone is because nothing was supposed to be wrong with that truck.

      Sincerely,

      *************************************
