      Shopped for metal building.Found one with this company.Discussed building details with sales person and sales person called and discussed with home office.Contact signed with agreement on each details.Deposit check was given.Date to deliver and set up was for June 20. ******** arrived and as morning went on I found out the contract was not being followed.Called company and felt everything was solved.Eventually I was told that the couldnt set the building square with existing home. I objected but couldnt communicate with installers. I told the installers to do what was correct and I was finished discussing their mistakes. I would remove myself until they had finished and it had better be correct.Shortly after noon the installers removed everything and left without notice.I have been in constant contact with various personal in company but no one has given any information about why the property was abandoned.I finally visited with salesperson and gave them till end of day to provide answers but none was provided.At the expiration of the day I requested my deposit returned.Still no response.

      Im informed to amend my complaint to delete request to reprimand and submit only request for refund of deposit for $2,000.00

      I ordered a 12x20 building from winslows through the rent-to-own program after looking at their buildings at the **** show lot. They took my deposit to start the building and said it would be delivered in 4-5 weeks per the contract. They took two payments on a rent-to-own building before it was even delivered. They had me get a permit for the building through my city before we started. 9 weeks later the building was delivered. The subfloor was not pressure-treated wood which is exposed to the weather. The floor that was to be nailed to the subfloor had nails that had been nailed through the floor missing the subfloor. When they opened the door to the building the studs were 4 foot on center not the 2 foot on center that was on the show lot. That wouldn't even pass inspection for a building of that size (for the permit that they informed me i needed). I told the delivery guy that is not what I ordered and he loaded it back up. The sales lady (***) called me the next day and asked what was wrong and I told her and she said those were upcharges for 2 foot on center. There were 4 studs along a 20 foot wall that is not structurally sound for a building of that size. I was being charged **** for a building that was not built to any code. They charged my card for a total of 750 dollars and I received nothing for it and was told they would make it right and now its two weeks later and not a word from anyone. I made a deposit and two monthly payments before it was even delivered and It was delivered 4 weeks late and was not the building I ordered or expected. I feel like they bait and switched me and being a rent to own they knew I would take what they brought me or be out all my money. I had a 90 day same as cash option which I was going to take advantage of until I saw the poorly built building.

      Sorry about the way this went down, ************* looked at a building located at our  **** ** location  then bought a building over 150 miles away from our sales person in Palestine who had no way to know what he had been looking at. Sounds like ************* looked at a premium building and the sales person priced and sold him an economy building. We keep pricing in our building so you might think had been some kind of tell something wasnt right but here we are. Yes we require the customer to get a permit before we deliver a building to their home, to ensure the municipality will even allow a building as some municipalities and HOA's have become quite unreasonable. To resolve this issue, we have issued a check to ************* for all of his money,  For clarity sake we did build and deliver the building ************* bought, but it must not have been the one he had been looking at. It our fault because we should always make sure a customer is informed. and we failed to do that.

      Ill consider this matter closed.
