So we were 4 adults and two puppies. I researched about hotels around Austin. We needed room just for 1 night, I saw red roof and I didnt book it online since we have pet and I want to make sure of the policy before I book. So I called and confirmed that pets are allowed and I didnt even care if want to charge for the pets. So I booked my appointment through red roof corporate or booking line. I was VERY CLEAR to the red roof employee that I need the roof that said has 2 queen **** He also made an error saying deluxe king and I told him specifically No, the deluxe with 2 queen *** you guys have at Manor, as we are 4 adults and 2 on each **** Im looking online and it says available and he confirmed and booked. He also mentioned pets under 85lbs are free. I triple confirmed with him that everything was good and gave him my card and after booking the reservation I went back on their website telling myself oh I might as well be a member as I will be visiting Austin a lot moving forward and I went to their website and signed up for rewards members. I booked this 1 week ago. We get there. It looked haunted and no one was in the front and than a lady popped up from no where and I told her that we had reservations for 1 night and she immediately went only 1 pet is allowed straight. She didnt want to confirm how many rooms, names on the booking nothing. I told her I called in and confirmed before booking. I called them and their corporate line and they kept hanging up and finally their guest help line or so and the woman was so rude and she said I will have answer in next 48hrs. Maam we are infront of your hotel checkin with our languages and its pouring crazy outside. They couldnt do anything, the front desk didnt know anything and all she did was kept staring. We had to book another place. This was the worst experience I have ever had with hotels.
