I went through the Wendy's drive thru and waited 5 minutes before an employee even acknowledged that I was sitting at the menu board, and placed and order. The order was missing an item. I tried to go into the lobby, but it was closed. I went back through the drive thru line and told them that I was missing my condiments. ****** told me that they were out, so I asked why she didn't offer me something else,rather than just not put anything in the bag. All I got was a blank stare. After waiting in the drive thru line for an extended period of time the second time, I asked ****** to please remake my food, because it was now cold. Another blank stare... I then asked for the manager and another crew person came to the window, which wasn't the manager,because I saw the manager walking away from the window when I drove up. I again asked that my food be remade and I was told no, because there is nothing wrong with the food. I then asked for a refund and that employee told me that they don't give refunds. I then asked for the phone number to corporate and the employee lied to me and told me that it was on my receipt. I then asked the employee to please give me back my receipt. When I got home I called the Corporate customer service number ************** and spoke with ********. She apologized for ****** and the other employee telling me that Wendy's don't give refunds. She also advised that since I paid with cash, I would need to go back to the store to get the refund that the employee said Wendy's don't give. ******** also told me that the regional manager would be reaching out to me. It's now Friday,September 16, 2022, four days after this horrible customer service experience and I still have not heard from leadership at Wendy's. I called the corporate number again today 9/16 and spoke with **** and she advised that she would follow-up and see why I wasn't called, and she apologized again for this horrible experience I had with the Wendy's in *****, **.
