On 06/14/2023 took car for back window replacement after a hail storm on 6/12/23. The replacement window that was installed is defective. Contacted the company on 06/15/2023 to let them know, on their advise took the car back to them to inspect the window. Both the owner and an installation specialist checked the window. The owner contributed the defectiveness to the potential for after-market windows to not be up to OEM standards. He said that ordering a new one could yield the same result, or be fine, they did not know. I offered to pay the difference for factory windshield. He did not agree to this resolution. He would only install a factory windshield if the full price was paid for the new windshield. I would not be refunded any money for the original defective unit. After market products and their potential for defects, if true, were not disclosed at the time of the installation. I suggested to him that he should disclose this to future customers but he was not receptive. I offered the owner a final chance to suggest anything that he would be willing to do . He said there was nothing he could do.Business response

We never received the first complaint letter. Received second letter on 7-13-2023. I contacted ****************** and got his credit card information and issued a full refund of $325.00. I advised him that if he wants OEM windshield he will pay 3 or 4 times the amount he paid. If you want OEM glass , you have to go to a dealer. Unfortunately, I have paid for the glass and paid my employee to install it.
