We bought a new home thru Carnegie Homes and KB Roofing was contracted to do our roof. We moved in on 03/23/22. In August 2022, I started sending warranty requests to Carnegie Homes letting them know that our roof was leaking at the fireplace, and it was dripping onto the top of the fireplace insert. ******** contacted KB roofing to come out and fix the problem. KB roofing came out and did a water test and told us that it was the Chimney cap that was the problem. ******** contacted the **************** and they came out and replaced the chimney cap. Well needless to say the roof is still leaking. We have turned in numerous warranty claims to ******** and they aren't going to do anything. So, I reached out to KB roofing directly and told them that the roof was still leaking, and I was told that they won't come out and fix it because, they have filed a lawsuit against ******** and until the lawsuit is settled, they aren't doing anything. I really don't care what KB roofing has going on with ********. KB roofing put the roof on our NEW home, and they need to stand behind their warranty. meanwhile, every time it rains the water continues to leak into our NEW home and now, we have water damage in our master bedroom walls and carpet because it has leaked SO much. We just want them to come out and fix the roof that they put on our house and repair the water damaged walls and carpet.
