On Saturday 10/14/23 me and my husband went in to purchase some rims and tires from King wheel & Tires we were told we would have to give a deposit so my husband gave a deposit of 500 when we went to another tire company we were quoted a cheaper price with name brand tires the tires that he was giving us where not name brand and cheaper tires so I called and talked to the guy about getting my deposit back he said it would be a *********************************************************************** for the business name and I told him that had nothing to do with me asking for my deposit well he got upset started yelling at me that I had wasted his time and that he was no longer going to give me my money back and hung up on me so I ended up going back to the location I asked him if I could speak to a manager he said he was the manager and that the person over him was not in he kept on arguing with me telling me he wasnt going to give me my money back when asking me what I did for a living I asked him what does that have anything to do with what were talking about and he then told get out this is my s*** Im the owner I was treated so bad if your a owner you dont treat people like that I was told by the tire company that I will be getting my tires and rims at that theres no reason for me not to get my money backBusiness response

This is a fabrication of what actually happened. She doesn't mention that we don't do refunds on deposits as it is stated in plain view on signage and as well as her invoice/receipt that she received. I told her initially that we would try and speak with the distributor to see if they would do a return. I did not guarantee that. I decided after about 5 minutes of her screaming and yelling over me, while I was calm trying to explain, that she's not someone that can be reasoned with. I told her I'm not going to let you scream and yell while your kids are in here. She then had her husband take them outside, that is when I told her I was the owner and due to her being disrespectful I would no longer attempt to help her. Also, I only asked where she received that quote so I could price match or beat their price to save her money and us not have this issue. She didn't care and immediately became rude. Bottom line is, our company policy is no refunds on deposits. We are not a shoe store you can't just order something and change your mind. We have signage visibly posted in plain view and it's written on all invoices customers are given.
