On 6/3/2023 I went to A ************* company..to got insurance policy they said Venture General Agency LLC would cover my car for $281 two days later Venture General Agency contacted me saying my policy had been canceled..I asked for a refund they said no refund...VGAO-591435-000is the policy number..I'm just wondering why they took my money if they knew there was a problem with my driving record . I think that's wrong I work very hard for my money...Business response

Mr. ****** coverage began on 6/3/2023 with coverage through 12:01 am on June 17th, 2023. Venture received $81 in total. At the time the policy was issued, Venture was unable to confirm that there were Underwriting issues that would not allow the policy to have been sold based on automated verification of records and answers provided by the insured. After further underwriting review, it was determined that the risks associated with Mr. ****** policy were outside of the acceptable guidelines. ************** was then notified, and the policy was cancelled. As coverage exists on the policy,it is not eligible for refund based on the period that coverage was provided.Initial Complaint

On September 8th I was hit by another car that caused damage to my car. The other car that hit me as well as myself pulled over to the nearest gas station. The other party provided me with their insurance accepting fault in the accident. They refused to take my insurance information again acknowledging that they were at fault. I called their insurance A-***on September 9th and filed a claim. Their adjuster ***************************** with Venture General Agency called me back on Tuesday September 13th to get my statement and asked that I get an estimate of the damages. I got an estimate of $13,000 of damages the next day and sent to her. She stated that she would call back in 3 days. I never received a call back from her and when I called her back she stated that they cannot do anything until they speak with their insured and they have 30 days to do so. I called Tuesday October 11th for a decision and she stated that their insured has been avoiding their calls and eventually changed her number. Their decision since they never spoke with their insured is not cover the damages to my car and leave me with $13,000 worth of damages out of my pocket. How can somene be insured by A-*** and they not be liable? How can someone duck and dodge phone calls and they not be liable? Can they do this? On top of it all ***************************** was very rude, very disrespectful, and VERY unwilling to help me. She would talk over me and not let me voice my concerns, I am sure she never heard anything I said as she did not care. She even hung up on me one of the times I was asking her questions. She was never once professional in our conversations. I am looking for the insurance company to cover my car damages as they should do since they are the ones who cover the person that hit me.Business response

As of October 11th, Venture stated that they were not going to pay for the damages to my car, and closed my claim.
