My car had to be repaired at dealership. The dealership stated the damage was due to damage from oil change. I provided documentation. I visited the delearship 3 times in attempt to speak with manager. I provided photos and additional documentation from dealership as to why they believed this to be damage from oil change and not running over something. Each visit I was told the manager would contact me. On 4th visit I provided letter with possible resolution scenarios. It has been approximentaly one month and i have not heard from the manager or owner.Business response

I sent an email for the customer but did not hear back from her explaining our point of view on the situation. Below the email I sent to the customer.
Good morning
I received your letter regarding the broken under shield on your vehicle. I understand it is an unfortunate situation and frustrating. Unfortunately, I do not agree with the dealer statement that we installed the under shield in the wrong way. The vehicle was driven for more than **** miles since we did the service, if it was installed incorrectly, it would have been making noise since day one. As for the dealer statement about the shield pulling down the fan shroud, that is not even physically possible to happen.
In my experience, I think, and I am totally confident about my statement, what caused the issue is that your vehicle has ran over an object which got caught by the shield and dragged it forward while backing up causing it to hit the fan and most likely I have seen it happen when someone runs over parking lot curb stops and then tries to back up.
I apologize about the inconvenience this issue has caused but I will not be able to take responsibility for this problem.

I am rejecting this response because: On my numerous in person visits and written correspondence I requested a phone conference with McKinney Oil Exchange, VW and my independent consultant. It may be easily resolvable with professionals ************** and clarifying. However, this busines did not reach out to me until I filed with BBB.
