Took my mini ****** for oil change and when it was finished I was told it was missing an air intake hose. I do not recall it missing before. I was told to get it fix as the engine light would come on. When I drove it out of the bay, it was jerky, rattling, and was not like that when brought in. **** thee manager said no one took anything off my car. I talked to **** and he said his video showed no wrong doing. I was unable to obtain this part from OReillys or Auto Zone. When I told him I was taking the car to the dealership, he kept telling not to- he knew someone that could find the correct part. I took the car to ************ where they did a complete check and the code for the engine light was due to a broken gasket on the oil fill tank and would not seal. They fixed it and all was fine. The missing hose was not the reason for the engine light coming on and did not require immediate repair. The total cost was $40.11. I repeatedly called **** to tell him that his crew was the last to add oil and must have broke the cap as it was not broken previously but I was gold he wasnt there or when I did talk to him he never called me back as promised. The least he could do was be honest about breaking the cap and reimburse me $40. I never heard from him again. This company and the director are dishonest, cowardly and do not take responsibility for the damage they do. They take advantage of vulnerable customers and then say the car was driving badly when it came in. Im not stupid & I know how the car drove before going to this place and how it was when they finished working on it. Do not take your car there especially if you are female (they think females dont know anything about cars). WRONG!Business response

Im sorry ************ had a bad experience but upon watching video surveillance I did not see anyone take her intake hose that we told her was missing to begin with after we were accused of taking it. We are honest and we try to inform our customers as best we can. Her check engine light came on but dealership told her it was a gasket on her oil cap. We changed her oil and used the same cap that is there for every oil change. This oil cap is taken off for every time an oil change occurs and be mindful that this was our first time changing Mrs ***** oil on her mini ******. As an automotive shop we can recommend repairs but we cannot be responsible for parts that are opened repeatedly or used constantly and need replacement. We want our customers to check our reviews as well as we strive for excellence. Also I am appalled to hear that ************ would think we would take advantage of her as the technician in charge of her car was a woman.Customer response

I am deeply dissatisfied with the service I received and the subsequent handling of the situation by the Wash Guys staff and management. I visited your car wash facility for an oil change service, which included a complimentary car wash. However, upon entering the car wash area, the conveyor belt malfunctioned, resulting in significant damage to the front bumper of my vehicle. During the incident, my front bumper resulted in almost being torn off completely. I was shown the full video recordings and cameras pointed directly at the area where the malfunction happened were also coincidentally disconnected. Not only was my vehicle damaged due to the malfunction, but the behavior of the staff was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. They were rude and unresponsive to my concerns, and the general manager, who initially refused to provide me with his full name, displayed a lack of accountability and professionalism. Despite being assured that corporate would contact me to address the issue, I have not received any communication from the Wash ************* After multiple attempts to follow up on my complaint, including three in-person visits to the car wash location on ****************, I was informed by the manager that the company will not accept liability for the damages to my vehicle and will not cover the costs of repairs. The damage to my vehicle was a direct result of the malfunctioning equipment at your facility, and the company should be held responsible for the financial burden of repairing my vehicleInitial Complaint

Check engine light came on. Was told that I needed to replace purge valve 4/3/23 replaced purge valve $95 Light came on again the next day. Was told I needed to replace evap leak detection pump 4/11/23 replaced evap pump $99.99 Light came on again and had problems with car igntion after fueling Took it to Washguys 4 more times but the light kept on popping back the next day after they reset my car. Was then told they had no idea and told me to go to the dealer.**** to Kwik Kar of Vista Ridge and was told that purge valve connector wiring was installed backwards. ******** said when I took my car in various feedback signales were missing from PCM datastream. When purge valve disconnected, signals returned. They said I needed to replace purge valve and correct wiring.8/7/23 replaced purge valve and repaired wiring at purge solenoid $421.55 8/19/23 contacted Washguys manager ****** and sent all supporting docs as requested but she hasn't been returning my calls. Went to Frisco location 10/5/23 and was told ****** wanted to meet me at The Colony location the next day but didn't bother to tell me the time. When I called today at 3, was told that she had already left and still no calls or texts from her.I am very upset with their incompetence as well as their lack of respect and courtesy and common decency. Had me running around here and there wasting my precious time and gas. At the very least, I would like an apology and money back $194.99.Thank you.Initial Complaint

I went to the washguys oil lube shop on ****** street in ****** ** and got a routine oil change and they added way too much oil that resulted in nearly $500 damages.
