I paid $ 525 (via *****) as a 60% deposit to David M******* Studios for a custom river resin table. We spoke about it at great length over the phone. I was told it would take a few months. Over the next few months, the owner told me he moved his business after a flood, had manpower and supply problems and it has been almost a year since promised delivery and I have no table. The owner said he has made my table and has given me different delivery dates, all of which he missed. I have even offered to drive to McKinney and pick it up and he kept saying he would bring it to me in Austin. I offered to pay shipping and still have not received the table! I asked for my money back several times and have not received that either! When I call and leave a message, I get a text from him (James David M*******) saying that he will call me later and he never does. I am out of patience and would like my river resin table or my money back! I tried requesting my money back via ***** but it said they could not process the request.Business response

I ordered a custom table from ***** in April 2021 for delivery in 6 weeks. After visiting his store front and workshop multiple times, ***** pushed back the delivery date continuously. He stopped responding to text and phone call communications around October 2021. I had paid him $2400 for the table and discussed other projects with him. I would like a full refund of the payment.Business response

January 18, 2021 a payment of $1200.00 was made via Zelle - transaction XXXXXXXXXXX to mobile number XXX-XXX-XXXX, held by ***** ******** for invoice ****** dated 1/17/21. This deposit was payment for Invoice XXXXXX - X'x3' ocean scape (Maui Blue) with trolley base, five-inch drawer, metal edging with bolts, two slabs. Total upon delivery would be $2,000.00. As of November 15, 2021, the product has not been made or delivered as agreed. Multiple attempts have been made to resolve this issue including mailing of a certified letter on 11/15/21 that has not been accepted by David. Excuses similar to the other complaints such as Covid, move, etc.Business response
