Nissan of McKinney installed a trailer hitch and, due to erroneous communications, later at my request, they removed it. I was told that they would credit me with the installation fee "in one or two days," but after 3 months they have yet to refund me for the parts they removed or installation charge. They also stole additional parts off my car to install the original trailer hitch (they removed the rear lift gate motion sensor and bumper trim piece) without notifying me and have yet to reinstall them or issue me a refund for the parts which at the time had only approximately 300 miles on them.Review from Paul G

I was charged a vehicle reconditioning charge or something to fix a dent in the passenger door that was never fixed. I'm pretty sure the previous owner was also docked on the trade for that dent, so you guys literally double dipped on this dent and didn't even fix it. When I got home with the vehicle I noticed the oil wasn't changed, the brakes were bad, there were ******************* sitting on the back floor from previous owner's sound system, multiple electrical problems. I also put a deposit down 3 days before I flew in to buy truck and was told the truck would be ready when I get there and ended up waiting over 6 hours for the vehicle to be given to me. I was told my warranty was 1695 and charged almost 3000 for it. That's what I get for trusting you guys. This is why there is such a distain for car salesmen and really dealerships in general.Review from Lucas M

I had one horrible experience purchasing a pre-owned car at Nissan of Mckinney. It was a very stressful and dishonest process I went through. I spent many hours asking the Sales agent to remove any extra services or cost from my contract. He was moving back and forth trying to convince me to add 'extra' services to my purchasing. In one of this situation, his manager changed the car pricing from $23188.00 to $23706.57, with no excuses or reason. Also with no agreement from my part. They tried to make this moving hidden but I realized reviewing the paperwork. I got very disappointed and requested him one reasonable explanation why they changed the car pricing without my consent. After 3 and 1/2 hours of process, I started to step back about purchasing the car, and the sales agent came with a offer to close the deal. So I moved to the ******************** to run the contract. He started to write the contract and showed up saying the interest we were expecting was not accepted by the banks and the car price raised. He never mentioned about adding again a service contract of $3560.00, and also raising the car price from $23188.00 to $23706.56. He literally make all these actions trying to get advantage on me and making me paying more. The way they handle things make you sign the contract and I started to review the numbers in the next day and noticed all these misdoing from the Financial Manager. I had to fight a lot, send many emails and callings to solve the issue and to make them removing all these extras costs added to my contract, even getting aggressive phone calls from the Financial Manager. Again, completely dishonest and horrible experience.Review from Brian B

Like several others, ZERO stars is not possible, so....We bought a 2014 ****** Crosstrek. There were dings, a windshield chip, etc. Nothing major - things I accepted as flaws when I bought the car.We test drove on side roads (they wouldnt let us highway drive), bought the car, and literally 3 days later, the "AT Oil Temp" light came on, indicating an automatic transmission problem. We immediately took the car to ******, because we bought the $1,500 MPP (warranty) that is supposed to cover major components such as transmission, engine, ****, drive train, etc. After initial diagnosis by ******, the car required a transmission replacement. Not rebuild....REPLACEMENT. Over $10,000, which is more than we paid for the car itself. On top of that, ****** discovered even more issues with the car during their diagnosis that we didnt catch when we test drove it. The rear passenger side door doesnt open from the inside, the **** blower motor was damaged, causing a rattling sound whenever heat or air is on, the hydraulics that control the height of the drivers seat didnt work, and there was NO horn!!! Not even damaged, it was missing. My understanding is that a car must be able to pass annual state inspection to be sold, and I was under the impression a car must have a working horn.Upon meeting with the dealership leadership, they were not willing to do ANYTHING to help. They wouldnt even confirm the ****** diagnosis without charging us to do it. Wouldn't replace or repair the transmission, wouldn't buy the car back, they wouldn't trade back the cash and car for our truck we traded in....literally ZERO help for the *** car they sold us.On top of all that, their finance manager, who sold us the warranty, "neglected" to tell us that the warranty doesn't take effect for 30 days after the purchase.AVOID this dealership AT ALL COSTS. They embody every stereotype of snake-oil used car salesmen that exists.DO NOT buy from this dealership under any circumstances.Review from Shanty S

If I could give a negative rating then I would! We went to get a car for my daughter (her first car on her own) We were first dealing with ***** who was very nice but then *** came into the picture. Zac is the pre owned vehicle manager. We had our own financing and *** was said that we can get a better rate at Nissan and that we would get additional discounts. Well, Nissan couldn't beat the interest rate that we had. He told us that with getting financed outside of Nissan, the price would be higher and he wouldn't be able to offer a discount. We kept our financing. the next day we come to get the car (bank check from a ********************** now all of a sudden, we were told that the bank check would have to be cleared first before we get the car. Seriously!! We spoke to the finance manager, he called the ************* verified the funds, got the code and stated that we are good to go to get the car. Go back and talk to ********************* and he said no it will take a few days. So, why were we not told this the day before when we spent 4 hours in the dealership? So, *** informed us that the 2 departments do not work together to make it easy for the customers. I returned with my husband and then was told that it could take up to a week for a bank check to clear account unless I want to finance through them. Or, I could call the credit union myself and have them put a rush on the check so that they can get there money. We signed all the paperwork, gave them the check and now we have to wait for the bank check to clear. Do not shop with this dealership or do business with *** as he told many lies, blamed everything on everyone else, had smart comments to make towards me and didn't apologize. I think that it was the fact that I am a woman shopping for a car or that they wanted me to pay a higher interest rate but either way do not shop here. *** said that we could speak to the Finance Director if he wasn't to busy.....disrespectful! Do not waste your time like we did!Review from Tabatha W

I just bought a used car from them and the salesman lied every step of the way! The two front doors were having issues staying open and I told him I wanted it fixed before I bought the car, he told me he had someone look at it, and they just greased them to much and it would get better! LIE!!! They still will not stay open, not even two weeks later I parked my car in my garage and there was something dripping from my car. I tried to use my windshield wipers to clean my windshield and there was no washer fluid, I put washer fluid in and the whole thing came out onto my floor. I took it to the dealership they said they would fix it, I never heard anything. I ended up having to drive up there, I waited until I got an answer where I bought the car then they sent me to service where I waited another 4 hours and they said they fixed it. Well here I am two weeks later I am driving down the road and my car stalls out and my check engine soon light comes on. I managed to get to a pull off. I did not trust them so I had another mechanic look at my car first, he said that the container that holds my engine coolant was leaking and had been for a long while and that it had dry rot in the top of the canister. I asked if that could have happened since I bought it and he said definitely not that they sold it to me like that, and that it should have NEVER PASSED INSPECTION AND BEEN SOLD!!!!! IN the ************** they are supposed to disclose when a car will not pass inspection even if it is being sold as is and I was told THAT IT HAD BEEN INSPECTED AND ALL THINGS HAD BEEN FIXED AND HAD PASSED INSPECTION, AGAIN THEY LIED! NOW MY CAR IS OVER HEATING AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY $400.00 TO FIX! I had it at there dealership not even two weeks before that and how did they miss the massive hole in my coolant canister, its almost like they were trying to get out of the 30 day window without having to fix it. SO SHADY! They are mechanics they should have noticed thatReview from Jennifer N

I brought my vehicle in for service on Tuesday, June 6, 2023; I had a 4:00 p.m. appointment. Upon arriving at the dealership, there was one unattended vehicle parked outside on the right of the service area blocking an entrance and there was another vehicle outside on the left side parked at an angle blocking the other entrance. The second vehicle I mentioned was also front facing with the vehicle owner present along with a service advisor. When I initially pulled up, I made eye contact with the service advisor so there is no mistaking that I was there and obviously needed into the service area. It was approximately ***** minutes that I sat in my running vehicle before the service advisor had the owner of the vehicle pull forward allowing me to enter the service area.I spoke to service advisor mentioned above a short time later and told her that I waited ***** minutes and that I was not happy as she could have simply had the vehicle owner who was blocking the entrance move her car up so they could finish their business. She rolled her eyes and said, "ok" and then walked away. The same service advisor entered the building and began gossiping about our brief encounter while rolling her eyes. At this time, I was still in the service bay outside speaking with my service advisor. I watched her unprofessional behavior as she stood facing forward in full view through the glass wall. After I was done checking my vehicle in, I entered the service office and turned left as that is how I knew to access the waiting area. As I was walking by, the the service advisor rolled her eyes again. I stopped and told her the eye rolling needed to stop. She then proceeded to tell me, stop following me. At this point I told her nobody was following her and she sounded ridiculous. She then said, stop talking to me and go away repeatedly. There are PLENTY of car dealerships to choose from for service and vehicle purchases. Stay clear of this one!Review from antonio f

My Armada wouldn't start so I had it towed to this dealership around 10:30 am and didn't receive any notification that the car was being processed. I called at 1:30 asking for a status and was told that I'd get a call back. I called back again at 3:30, still unable to reach a service advisor or manager, and still was not able to get an update on the status of my vehicle. I finally had to get a ride to the dealership just to speak with an advisor and manager, and was told that the lack of response was standard and my concerns over the lack of communication were not addressed. This is the most horrible customer service I've ever received at a dealership.Review from Kris K

My salesperson was able to match other offers I'd had ($432/month for 60 months) but after I'd signed, I discovered he'd added A WHOLE YEAR to the contract. My fault for not going over the contract inch by inch, but I trusted ... and he zoomed the paperwork in front of me ("just sign here") over and over again. I'm furious with Nissan of McKinney for lying to me about matching my deal and adding 12 additional months to my contract. I'm going to use my "3 day escape from contract" that the internet claims I have.
