Warning! Warning!Deceptive and unethical practices ahead!Plumber came out to replace 2 water supply valves for a washing machine that were leaking, and that were corroded, and I could not remove myself for fear of snapping them off and on a Sunday that would not have gone over well. ******* showed up on time as promised, and I am thankful for that, note the one star. Explained over the phone to me he might have to cut wall, cut water supply line and replace valves $600. Instead, I got two wrenches, some twisting and 2 -$16 valves, which were not any different than the 2 new ones I had on hand that he told me he couldn't use. The whole job maybe an hour, ************************ the truck, . *******************************************************************. Watch video of what was done and judge for yourself. Then I tried to avoid posting this by contacting the only point of contact I had via texting just to see if there was any wiggle, and there's not. Actually no one can help at all, once you agreed to the price, apparently you have sold your soul. This is what happens when you live in an area where the jobs are plentiful and ads on WBAP are expensive. Yes, I called them. Yes, I agreed to the price which again sounded like it was going to be more labor intensive and involve more, or at least different parts. But I know all people / companies make mistakes and I judge on how you address these mistakes. Honestly $25-$50 bucks would have been all it taken. So, whoever is reading this for BFP if you can say without a doubt what you seen in the video and know that's exactly what was done seems fair, then I guess we are done.I will try to find a plumbing board of ethics if there is one or reach out to corporate entity if there is one.

NOT recommended, 3x overprice charge. Got estimate for Aquasana Whole House water conditioner and filter install. the technician came and take picture of the setup and send back to office for estimate. they charge $79 or trip fee and another $80 for Minor Diagnostic fee. and they quoted $2659 for just the installation fee. before them I got quote from Aquasana Authorized installer, quoted for $800 and no charge for estimate. then I get another free estimate from another Aquasana Authorized installer for $600. so out of the 3 quote, Benjamin Frankling charge $160 for just come out and give estimate and their estimate is 3x-4x more then the other estimate. Look like they dont know what it take to install the simple system so they quote for 3x higher. either way is win-win for them. with or without service they still got paid $160 for come out and take couple picture. Stay away from them as far as you can.

Whatever plumbing crisis you're facing, hiring Benjamin Franklin Plumbing will make the crisis MUCH WORSE! They charge exorbitant prices and don't provide the services they promised. I hired them to find a leak in a pipe inside a bathroom wall. Upon arrival the tech stated that the leak was probably in the slab and leak detection required the use of specialized equipment. He said the company's standard price was $780 for the service. I agreed to the price. The tech cut a hole in the bathroom wall to expose the pipes. Approximately an hour later, without utilizing any special equipment the tech explained that he was unable to detect the source of the leak. He then tried to sell me on a $13,000. plan to find and repair the leak by drilling into the slab from the exterior of my home. The next day I called several other plumbing companies, all of which quoted me a price of less than $400 for the leak detection service. The company I hired, utilized specialized equipment to locate the leak in the slab and seal the affected pipe. They gave me a $4,000. estimate to repair the leak. The goal of a business is to make money but providing service relevant to the fees charged should be a part of the business' focus. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's company standard is to overcharge and provide minimal service, based on my experience with them. Stay away from this company.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. We sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations; we strive to provide high-quality services at competitive prices. It seems there may have been some miscommunication or misunderstanding, especially regarding the leak detection process and associated costs. The prices we quote consider many factors, including the level of service and quality of the equipment used, which sometimes may not be as transparent as they should be to our clients. The solution proposed by our technician to resolve your leak problem by drilling into the slab from the exterior of your home was indeed a higher-priced option. This solution is often considered when a leak is difficult to locate, and conventional methods might not suffice. However, we acknowledge the substantial price difference between our quote and that of the other companies you consulted. We genuinely apologize if you felt that the value we provided did not justify our costs. We continuously strive to balance the need to cover our operational costs while offering the most competitive rates to our valued clients.Your feedback has provided ** an opportunity to review and adjust our pricing structure where needed, as well as address training with our technicians to make sure they're communicating and exploring all options with you. We want to assure you that our customers' satisfaction is our utmost priority. If you're open to discussing this further, please call our Field Operations Manager, *****************************, at **************. We would like to gain a better understanding of your experience, which in turn will help ** to improve our services.Thank you again for your feedback. We genuinely regret any inconvenience caused and hope for an opportunity to make things right.
