I wrote one review based on one job, which, after all was said and done, wasn't what was promised. I then hired Adcock Roofing to fix ONE leak. ONE. They parlayed that into a reroofing job, took everything the insurance paid me for the job, never gave me a written estimate or contract, never provided a warranty. Everything was verbal. Within a few months, with the first good rain, the SAME DAMNED **** appeared, PLUS a much worse one where there had not been one since the house was reroofed by Ameritex in 2012. I contacted *************************** (who had said he was a partner), he said the owner "took off with $50,000 and Adcock Roofing is defunct." I found the owner, ***** Adcock, told him about the new damage, he said "I'll make it right." He hasn't. He said ******* was just a salesman. He has since (after my poor roof) transferred the company to said "salesman." Oh, at the "fix" for the new bad leaks? ******* came out and nailed cheap plastic sheeting (nails going through the roof into the attic) over the edges of three skylights, even though only two had leaks. That made matters worse. I had a bigger leak, the ceiling began to sag and finally, on Thursday, May 30, 2004, just over 6 months since my "new roof," the bathroom ceiling fell in. I have pictures. Now there is a bad mildew smell through my house and I and my pets are suffering from "attic mites" which normally stay up in the attic, but with wet, soggy, rotting ceiling falling down and leaving a HUGE gaping hole, the attic mites are spreading through the house. The only way I could stop them biting me was to douse myself with flea killer (all natural). Oh, and "Sydney J" who wrote the review on July 30, 2023? She is ********* live in girlfriend, they are in an apartment, she NEVER had a roof for him to re-roof and I suspect the "project manager" is what I am now told is "just a salesman."
