In 2020, I paid Texas Pride Construction $18,000 to build my fence. This included the retaining walls, gates and some sod. Before I signed the contract, I was told that the job would not be under warranty unless I had French drains put in. That was included in the $18K. Mid 2021, I let him know that the fence was starting to warp. He told me it was because of the lack of rain. Again at the end of 2022, I contacted ***** to let him know that it was getting worse. He finally came out to look at it and saw that it was going to need more anchors. He spoke with my significant other and admitted that he hadn't done enough research when he originally did the job. They started digging up the area around the fence at the beginning of January. It is now June 9, 2023 and the job is still not done. My backyard is completely torn up with drenches and mounds of dirt. He claims that he did not charge me enough when he originally did the job and that he doesn't have the means to buy the supplies and pay a crew to get it done. I have stopped having contact with him in April and told him that I would be filing a claim if the job was not done by the end of May. Here we are. Someone came out twice during May for a total of less than an hour and there has been no improvements on the job. I just want my fence finished correctly.Business response
