Myself and my 7 brothers and sisters contracted with Heritage funeral services. 2 of my sisters that were taking care of arrangements which was not going well because they tried to change things after the other 6 children payed their part for cremation. At that time the oldest which was our brother stepped in as next of kin. The 2 sisters were not happy about that so they called and said our mother was married which they did not disclose that our mother was married at the time of contract; in which no one but the 2 sisters were aware of. We eventually after researching found out she was married. The funeral director Brandon then stated he needed to get permission for cremation from our mothers husband. Her husband called and explained they were estranged for many years and he wanted nothing to do with arrangements. So at that time Brandon prepped our mother for cremation and 3 days later she was cremated. After our mother was already cremated Brandon demanded a signed paper from our mothers husband. Our mothers husband is 70+ yrs old and not of sound mind with a illiterate POA. They want nothing to do with arrangements, our mother was cremated without proper signatures and just sitting at the funeral home because the POA is playing games. We have no idea if or where our mothers remains are. All this was done with only illegal consent and signatures. We want our mothers remains as they were paid for in full by all her children. Brandon illegally cremated our mother and if he didn't have the correct signatures he should not have done anything until he did. Now he refuses to speak to anyone of us children and if we happen to get him on the phone he is belligerent as if he didn't do anything wrong. As of yesterday he nastily told us to go get a lawyer!!!!
