I recently purchased 3 knives from Cobratec to which I have had a great experience with this product and customer service. **** (supervisor) has helped me with the operation of one (customer error) and the purchase of another one that was out of stockI really wanted the out of stock knife (hidden release STAG trapper) and contacted **** to inquire about possible release of item. **** informed me that it could be back in stock in approximately 1-2 weeks, and would task one of his team members to let me know when its advertised back in stock. I thought, lets see if this happens, and I was elated when I received the email indicating item was back in stock. I immediately went on Cobratecs web page and purchased the knife!!I will be purchasing another type of knife I would like to have thats currently on back order once its released. I have a several of their knives and think the quality and craftsmanship are excellent for the price point. The *** utility knife is one of the most practical and useful pieces I own with a crisp strong opening and closing mechanism. The carbon fiber scale ****** is a work of art, smooth sleek and so pretty I don't even want to carry it..truth be told I'm thinking on ordering another one with a plain handle (scale) to carry.Only thing I'd like to see improved is the sharpness of the blade at purchase. I can shave with my Microtechs when I buy them, I'd love this company to adopt that service.Review from Eric N

I was excited to receive my Lightweight ***** knife over the Christmas holiday. I was extremely disappointed to get a different one in the mail. I reached out and they refused to send the correct one until I send this one back first. They said that they would be out of luck if I did not ship the wrong one back. I understand that, but when did the customer start becoming second instead of first? I will never order from this company again!Review from William S

This is my second knife from cobra tech their quality craftsman ship is no good knife has ****** in the blade from the day I got it less then a week after owning it the spring broke had to send it in they were supposed to fix the blade they didn't theybfixed the spring that was it second k if I bought missing hardware contact them they asked for pictures I sent them and was ignored talked to the company that they were purchased from they called ***** the owner of cobra tec he calls me I give him all info he apologizes tells me he will ship out hardware and a label for them to take care of my blade on my other knife now I get a email after ***** got my address and said it was taken care of in the email from Dakota it says ***** told him to take care of it after I was already told it's taken care of now I am getting pawned off not worth the headacheReview from B. In 47 years I have NEVER owned a knife that couldn't be sharpened! Especially one that I paid Over $115 for. I have tried Every trick in the book! Including the Last Resort,a belt Sander. I am to say the least extremely disappointed! I have literally bought gas station pocket knives that sharpened better than this $120 knife. Buyers Beware!

Okay so I'm here to amend my review about Cobra tech knives and company my initial review was not great but I was contacted the very next day assuring me that my problem would be taken care of fast forward 3 weeks later they didn't correct the problem with my old knife they sent me a brand new one that they attempted to sharpen but did not succeed. They sent me a brand new one that doesn't even open properly it works less than 40% of the time when trying to open I have since sent multiple multiple emails asking to be contacted to rectify the situation. Nobody has bothered to answer my email in any way shape or form so therefore again I advise buyer beware this company in no way shape or form stands behind their product nor do they care about customer service again in 47 years this will only make the fourth review I have ever left in my life because I am in the customer service industry and I do know that sometimes reviews can be very skewed because of customer is upset but after I have attempted to ask for the warranty to be stood behind and to no avail again I advise buyers beware stay away from this company they do not stand behind their product and they do not care about customer service nor the quote unquote lifetime warranty they provide LOL.Review from Bill G

I purchased a new CTK-1 and a month later it did not release correctly. I sent for warranty repair and it was returned and operated correctly a only few days. I called customer service and rep.immediately knew my knife and said they cleaned wood chips and all was well. I had not used it on wood. The warranty ***** said send it in again. I returned my knife to store for replacement. My replacement knife worked a couple of months and now is inoperable. It was used for cutting card board. The knife is poor quality and not dependable. This company makes fantastic products at a great price point. Ive had several interactions with their customer service, mostly for ordering assistance.
