Perry **** at Affordable Kare Kare claimed to put Freon into my vehicle and charged me for the services. However, I took my vehicle for a second opinion with another mechanic and they said no Freon was added into my vehicle which means I was charged for services he did not honestly do. I've uploaded supporting documentation. Also, Perry **** has harassed me with 11 phone calls and text messages after asking him to leave me alone. I had to file a police report against him. I made a dispute with my bank to get my money back and now he's threatening to repossess my vehicle and to put a lien on it. He's got numerous complaints of fraud. This will more than likely end up in court.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/24) */ August 18, 2021 BBB 1601 Elm· Street Suite 1600 Dallas, Texas XXXXX RE: Case# XXXXXXXX **** (*****) ******** Dear Specialist: Ms. ******** brought in her 2015 Lexus IS 250 into Affordable Kar Kare on July 28, 2021, complaining that her air conditioner did not work. At the time the car came in it had ZERO freon in the system/. After looking at the car we put two pounds of freon in the system and the air conditioning system started getting cold. At that time, we could not find the leak. We advised Ms. ******** that we put die in the system so that when it leaks out we can find the leak. When Ms. ******** left the air conditioning system was cooling. Ms. ******** brought the car back on July 29, 2021, as the !car was not cooling the freon had leaked out. We were able to see the die on the back of the compressor. The back of the oompressor is where the freon was leaking. Ms. ******** was advised of our finding. Ms. ******** needed the car but said she would bring back for repairs. Then Ms. ******** then cancelled the payment on her credit card. We tried to contact Ms. ********. We called Ms. ******** twice and she hung up on me both times. I then texted her that her car was up for repossession. (At this time, it is still up for repossession.) Ms. ******** states in her claim that the took it into another shop and they told her that we did not put freon in it. I do not know of any reputable shop and would tell her that we did not put freon in the car. When upon their inspection could see that there was an obvious leak. Ms. ******** should realize that freon was put in the car on July 28, 2021 , as the air conditioning system was working arid cold when she left. As far as 11 phone calls and text messages. There were 2 phone calls I made to Ms. ******** of which she hung up on me. There were several text messages back and forth communicating trying to resolve the issue If necessary, I have all the communications documented. As far as her filing a police report, we know nothing about that. If necessary we have the text messages she sent to me along with her responses back. As far as the car, it is still up for repossession but is on hold until the bank makes their decision. We have all documentation of the services provided to Ms. ********. We have attached documentation of the services provided to Ms. ******** As far as someone committing a fraud, Ms. ******** committed a fraud by her actions. It is her responsibility if her car gets repossessed. All this could have been prevented by one phone call which makes us believe she is trying to commit fraud We reached out to Ms. ********, and she did not reach out to us.
