I found ******* and DTX Handyman Services on Thumbtack. I hired him to do quite a bit of remodel work on a home I just purchased. 1. Demo old flooring & install new LVP (Work was not done properly. He failed to put almost all of the moisture barrier down and there were splits and gaps between the planks with new splits that continued to happen). 2. Sand, prime and paint kitchen cabinets - the paint has peeled off and the surface underneath proves that the cabinets were not sanded nor primed. There were numerous spots missing paint and drip marks everywhere.3. Scrape popcorn, prep ceilings and then retexture and paint in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The ceilings were partially scraped in places (much of it was not at all), nothing was prepped in terms of floating the ceilings nor were they textured and were only painted in spots.4. Install new vanities in 2 bathrooms. The plumbing leaked and caused damage to both vanities. Additionally, the master bathroom vanity is missing both the side and back backsplashes and the top was installed crooked. The master vanity was also not set flush with the wall by notching out the baseboard.5. Wall and ceiling painting - there are missed spots everywhere and the wrong colors were used in the wrong places in a couple of instances 6. Baseboards - only some were painted and it was not done with the paint specifically purchased for the baseboards.7. Tile installation - grout is too low in many places, tiles are not evenly spaced in many places and nothing was ever cleaned before they finished the job, they didnt even try to wipe the grout haze away.8. All doorknobs had to be replaced due to being painted. Ceiling fans were painted, windows were painted. The only space I said I didnt care about excess paint spray was on the kitchen countertops as those were being replaced.9. At the end of the job there was not proper clean up. Doorknobs, windows, light fixtures, outlet covers, light switch covers and ceiling fans not cleaned.
