The nature of this complaint is regarding the unsatisfactory & incomplete remodeling job done by JCS Enterprise. I signed a contract & submitted a down payment for $10K with *********************** (Owner) on June 8, 2023 to remove & replace the kitchen floor, install **************** where needed, install sealant on joists & install laminate flooring. Remove & replace master ****************** bathroom floors. Install 3/4in plywood & 2/6 joists, remove & replace damaged ***************** Remove & replace ************ & install shower seat, remove & replace 30in cabinet in hallway & 24in in master bathroom. Install all basic fixtures for both bathrooms. Remove & replace ceramic tiles around bathroom walls. Install ****** board around ************ areas. Install basic bathroom mirrors/paint areas in bathroom where needed. JCS Enterprise was to provide all material & labor. Job completion was scheduled for ***** days, weather permitting. Total payments of $50K+ for a job that took nearly 3 mos to complete because the contractor was not paying his work crews nor providing them w/the daily supplies needed to complete the job. This resulted in numerous delays, different work crews starting & not completing jobs, ****'s of incomplete and/or incorrect repairs, unsatisfactory workmanship & a considerable amount of inconvenience for the tenant. The master bathroom shower had to be repaired to fix a reversal of the plumbing pipes supplying the hot & cold water. Each time the contractor requested a draw, it was provided even though he had not kept his committment to honor his contract. Also, without my consent, the contractor repainted the interior of the home & then charged me for the paint. After 10 mos of calls/texts/emails, unresponsiveness, failed promises & missed appointments to resolve, the hallway bathroom still does not have hot water in the tub. The contractor has been told by several plumbers on what needs to be done to correct the problem but he still has not corrected it.
