    Signed a contract with Edison Solar, LLc on 07/11/2024, installation of panels and electrical wiring was completed within *********************************************************** the interim I have made 4 payments of $226.00 to ***** finance company ($58,000 plus remaining)and pay Entergy $298.00 (avg) per month. Very little contact from Edison Solar since installation, when I contact Edison I speak with a representative/operator @ ************ who is cordial but really can't help. Attached are the documents provided by **** ************ showing electrical violation fees due with on activity since 10/24/2024. My wife and I are senior citizens 69 yrs and *************************************** getting our solar system activated.

    Our solar panels were never finished being installed. Its been over 10 months now and everyone keeps giving us the run around. Its impossible to get in contact with someone. We are expected to pay for everything as if we are getting service when we are not. The couple of times workers came to do something was not planned with us. I just happened to be at the house luckily. Poor communication skills. We were told to pay all the bills and we would get reimbursed once everything was completed but all they do is keep asking for more money with no service or work completion. This is the worst experience ever, were truly dissatisfied with the negligence this company has given. Will pursue legal action if work does not get scheduled to be completed soon. The least they could do is reach out and update us on the situation. Definitely a company that just takes advantage of people.

    Solar panels with Edison it is 4 months and I still do not have my solar started. I still do not have the pto to start my services. If they can not get my service started they can have their panels and redo my roof where the panels were. I will not.have my credit ruined because of them. Enfin is trying to collect money for the panels, I am not paying them.until I have my service

    On July 13, 2024, I signed a Solar Installation Agreement with Edison Solar for the property address: ***********************************. As of this date, the project has not been completed. The solar panels were installed on or about August 2, ************************************************* around August 7, 2024. On August 8, 2024, I was informed that the electrician would need to come back at a later date because a special part had to be ordered for my job. As of todays date, NO ONE has ever been back to complete the electrical installation.I have contacted their customer service several times by phone, text and email inquiring as to when I can expect the panels to be completely installed and functional and when I'm lucky enough to get someone to answer, I've been told that they would have to schedule something with the electrician and would contact me with a date once it's been scheduled. Again, the panels were installed in the early part of August and NO ONE has been back out to complete the job since August 7, 2024 and since there is no solar meter installed, my energy company will not complete the inspection so I'm in limbo between the two companies all the while, the finance company is wanting me to pay for the panels that are not functional. In addition to this, on August 29, 2024 I was contacted by my energy company stating that there was an issue with my signature on the agreement; that the contract would need to be resigned by me and resubmitted. I sent a text to Edison Solar customer service for which I received a response on August 30th stating that issue had been resolved; although I don't know how considering I was told that I needed to resign contract and I did not.

    Over a year ago a young man came by telling me we would save money by putting up solar panels. He made a false claim that I would cut our bill down but also recieve a tax return to help pay off the panels. At first I said no because we live on a very tight budget because I'm disabled and we get help with our electric bill so it wasn't necessary. He continued to ask about just putting up panels to offset the cost and most I would ever pay was ******. Edison Solar is a company who takes advantage of people like myself and never went by the contract. We were confronted by the city because they had no permit. This was last summer. Edison Solar didn't get a permit until September of this year. Over a year of our panels not being put up correctly. Several times they worked send random people here to try and fix issues so they could get a permit and they had nothing good to say about the company and expressed how bad the installation was done. I'm still waiting on them to give me information on how to see what our solar panels are doing because our bill shows only ***** savings. How do I pay a $400 electric bill and a loan bill for goodleap. I live off of disabilty because I have ******************. We feel taken advantage of and I would never ever encourage anyone to get solar panels with this company. They obviously aren't producing what they should and nobody returns phone calls. I currently owe Over $800. They need to contact us and get our equipment working correctly. With all the struggles of not having a permit they should be responsible for the $400 bills they claim would be cut.

    I have sent in multiple emails at this point, and feel like my questions and concerns are not remotely being seen. This entire process to get solar setup has been absolutely frustrating, before the loan the rep ******* was super responsive and great to deal with, until the communication started becoming completely one sided, the installers randomly showing up to do the install in the rain as I was leaving my house. I had been talking and texting with ***** **** who now after all of the messages trying to get help with the box/app working, I FINALLY got a response from him after an ultimatum was given, after weeks of trouble shooting they sent a tech out for me to be told the box that I was provided was faulty. No big deal, swap it out and we are good to go, however the time it took for me to get someone to come fix the issue is insane. I have since contacted another phone number given to me by ***** to try to reach out to someone, I have text ******* ********* multiple times as well. This is at the point of negligence that I truly feel once the loan was approved, the money was given. Not a single person cares to respond or remotely help when questions are asked and I honestly wish I would of not gone through with this install. Since if I ever have an issue, I feel like warranty is not a thing on a product that was tens of THOUSANDS of dollars. I understand my small house is not near the amount of profit as some larger jobs, but we at least deserve some form of communication. At this moment I'm not recommending anyone I know to do solar due to how god awful this process has been.I once again am asking for a technician to come out to verify my panels are working 100% of their capacity, and I need to know if the system I was sold by ******* is even enough for my house. This has been going on for months now and this is a simple question/issue that could have been fixed WAY before coming to this email.

    The company hasn't finished or corrected the job even though I have reached out multiple times so that they could. I am now paying for a service that hasn't been completed and that I can't use.

    Our contract with Edison Solar stated we would have Enphase Inverters. Our Solar was not producing as promised so we had another Solar company look at it and they said the inverters that were installed were not Enphase inverters and that is why the panels are not working properly because the installation that was promised in the contract was not correct. The inverters that were installed were of lesser quality. 5 of the panels installed have never worked therefore missing out on the solar savings of those panels as well. We would like the inverters changed and corrected as well as the 5 panels not producing to be fixed. If they choose not to complete this then we want our full money back. We are talking $47,000 they have stolen and refuse to fix the issue.

    It took close to a year but Edison Solar got the solar permit completed so the city could install the bidirectional meter so my panels could produce electricity. There are still 3 problems that they have not addressed yet.1. Solar monitoring system was never setup and Edison Solar is aware of the issue last March. They have not offered a solution other than they are working on it with no ETA.2. I inspected my roof on 7/24/24 and found a solar panel not connected to anything electrically . It was simply mounted on my roof for decoration apparently. A thorough inspection may reveal other panels not connected or other major issues. Edison Solar has also been made aware of the issue with a response of they are working on it with no ETA.3. Solar panels were presented as saving me 65% on my energy bill. Right now there are producing closer to 20%. Edison Solar has been made aware with a response of they are working on it with no ETA.This is my second complaint to the BBB for this company. The first was for Edison not filing the permits with the city so the bidirectional meter could be installed for the solar panels.

    I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent installation and connection of solar panels on my property at ************************On April 12th, your team installed the solar panels. However, shortly after, I received a notification from the authorities stating there was no permit for this project. I contacted your company immediately and was assured that the permit was in place and the panels could be connected to the grid.Since then, I have taken off work three separate times to wait at home for the connection and inspection needed to activate the panels. Unfortunately, your technicians failed to show up on any of these scheduled appointments:Last week of April (assistant has specific day)First week of May (assistant has specific day)June 12, 2024 These missed appointments have caused significant disruption to my work schedule, resulting in lost wages.Furthermore, due to the delays in activation, I have missed out on three to four months of potential energy production from the solar panels.This situation is unacceptable. Not only has your company failed to deliver on its promises, but the repeated missed appointments have caused me significant financial hardship.I request that Edison Solar take immediate action to address these issues. This includes:Reimbursement for lost wages Expedited connection and inspection: Please prioritize the connection and inspection of the solar panels to minimize further production loss.Compensation for lost production: I request a fair compensation for the missed energy production over the past three to four months.
