  Mesquite Tree Services cut down a large tree in my neighbor's yard at *********************************************************, on the morning of Dec. 7th, 2023.One of their representatives, ****, banged hard on my door while I was working at home and asked that I move my husband's silver Volkswagon Jetta in our driveway. The car was undriveable, and I had to call my husband to let him know that this tree service wanted the car out of the driveway. He came home, and moved the car by pushing it. The Mesquite ************ guys helped him push the car down the driveway.I was not given advance notice by the owners of ************************** that the Mesquite ************ would be there that morning.Some large branches from a Hackberry tree at *************************************** over our fence by our driveway in our backyard and were very long and large.Mesquite ************ trimmed some large branches from the tree in our neighbor's yard and managed to leave some deep scratches in our fence by our driveway. The damage has ruined a l section of our beautiful fence. We did receive a quote from a fence company to repair this damage and to have the fence re-stained.This damage will cost us thousands of dollars to repair. My husband emailed Mesquite ************ on Dec. 14th, 2023, and attached photos of the damage that their workers did to our fence. **** did call us and we spoke with him about the damage to the fence, but he was not willing to pay us any compensation for the damage.It is not fair for us to have to pay big bucks to repair damage on our property caused by the Mesquite ************. I would like for the Mesquite ************ to pay us a check for the damage for at least $500.00. I don't expect them to pay for the whole fence to be restained, but the $500 would help repair the damage that they caused.

  Hello, BBB,

  The owner of the Mesquite Tree Services contacted me about three weeks ago and told me that he would be willing to pay ** $500 as a check (which is what I asked him for) if I took down the BBB complaint.

  For some reason, I could not find your email or see the complaint on your website, so I am glad that you contacted me.

  I can contact **** today and let him know.

  I had previously posted a complaint against the Mesquite Tree Services, LLC about damaging my fence while they were in the process of trimming a neighbor's tree. I would like to drop the complaint, because they paid me $500 towards my fence repairs. Please remove the negative posting that I sent you.
