      This company was hired to fix a leak under my kitchen sink. My son was there the day they arrived. He is 19 years old. They stayed well over an hour, claimed to have tightened a screw to the dishwasher that they said was leaking. Mind you the dishwasher hasn't been functional in six months so it wasn't leaking. My son explained to me that they sat and carried on a conversation with him for the whole hour about nothing. I believe it was so they could charge me for an hours worth of work. He even told me they did nothing to my sink. When I arrived home, the water was still dripping from the same place. I proceeded to purchase a new sink nozzle and asked them to install it. I don't feel I should have to pay for a service call where they took advantage of the fact I was not there and they could lie to me about repairing something that had been broken for months. The owner then proceeded to bash me on social media when I answered a media question about plumber referrals in the area.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/21) */ Customer states kitchen faucet is leaking: 7/12/2021 Trip #1-Plumber allowed sink water to run approx 20 minutes to locate leak. No leak was found. Plumber used dry paper towel to try and locate wetness/moisture. Moisture was indicated at clamp where disposal connects to dishwasher drain. Plumber tightened nut on clamp. No further drips/leaks or moisture noted after through check of plumbing at kitchen sink. 19 year old son was left to manage service and recorded the entire encounter with plumber. Plumbers helper did conversate with customers son while plumber worked. 7/13/2021 Customer states leak under kitchen sink is flooding cabinet so much they cannot catch all the water in bowls. 7/14/2021 Trip #2 Master Plumber goes to investigate issue. Upon arrival, no bowl or container was found under sink and there was no sign of any moisture, water damage, etc. Master Plumber thoroughly tested both hot and cold water on both sides of sink. After approx 20 minutes, Master Plumber saw one drip of water but could not pinpoint exact spot where it came from. This led Master Plumber to believe the drip was coming from inside the faucet. Advised customer the faucet needed replacing. 19 year old son left in charge of service and video recorded the entire encounter. 7/15/2021 Master Plumber returns and installs customer supplied kitchen faucet. All tested out good. In summary, the customer was charged a $89 service call fee for the first trip. The second trip to investigate further was no charge. The final trip was for one hour of labor. We explained to her that we do charge for our services. Generally we have a one hour minimum for a call, but in this case we only charged her a small service call fee for the first trip out. The customer made several borderline libelous statements regarding our business practices on social media prior to paying her bill and the owner of the company did respond, but there was no disrespect or bashing of the customer. After numerous attempts to contact the customer for payment, a notice of intent to lien had to be sent to the customer due to the fact she was not paying her bill. After receiving the legal notice that we are required to send in order to collect payment, she did finally pay her invoice in full.
