I purchased a 2013 **************** for my daughter June 25 ****. Two days after getting this vehicle the check engine light came on, we have had SEVERAL issues with this car, which every time we have taken back and they confirm they have fixed the issues, but days later the problems arrive again. When we purchased this car we were told that it was completely checked before being sold to us. In fact we have found out that this vehicle was never put through the made ready shop to service it before being sold. The ************************* avoids us at all cost. I have gone up to the dealership and have called several times and still no resolution. We were told everytime that is something else happens they would put my daughter in another car but that never happened. Here were are again and car is back in shop. They gave her a loaner to drive but the car has just as many issues as hers. All we are asking is to have a realiable car for her to drive. She has a job and needs reliable transportion. She is at risk of loosing her job due to the car issues that can and should be resolved. There are several ****** reviews that state that other customers are having the same issues and it is not right to take someones hard earned. We just want her to be put in a realiable car or our money back to go elsewhere.

I sold my truck to this dealership. They told me a check would come to me within 2 to 3 weeks. It is now 1 month later and several inquiry phone calls and I have not received my check. They keep telling me the check is in the mail and they are liars. They have a terrible business ethic and seem not to want to resolve my issue. I would like my $7,422.00 now, mailed via ***** overnight!

Received in the mail an offer to buy my 2017 GMC truck for $43,833.00 from Autoworld in Mineral Wells Tx. Called them per the instructions to make an appointment for them to inspect the truck for Autoworld to purchased. Arrived on Friday Oct 22, 2021 at 1:45pm, within 45 minutes I had a offer from Autoworld to purchase my truck for $42,000. Then they stated if I purchased another vehicle from them at this time I could save paying Texas State income taxes. They wanted me to purchase a $****** used car. Autoworld also stated they wanted to purchase my 2019 corvette for ******. I stated I wanted to purchase two new vehicles. Autoworld stated they could order the two new cars and if I purchased the $****** used car, that I could return that car for its full purchase price and apply its value toward the purchase of the two new vehicles. I asked if that would be in the contract and Autoworld stated it would. So I called my wife and she drove the 45 minutes trip to pick me up so I could drive my corvette to Autoworld for evaluation for them buying the corvette. My wife drove back to Autoworld in our 3rd car so we could sell both the truck and corvette. Autoworld offered us $****** for the corvette and $42,000 for truck. When my wife ****** and I went to the finance person ***** to complete the deal, ***** had no idea of the credit arrangement for our purchase of the used vehicle at $****** and that there was no contract to that affect. ***** called the owner of Autoworld and the owner instructed him to offer the credit for only 120 days. We gathered our car keys and leaving Autoworld when ***** called us back to his office. The owner of Autoworld over the phone told us he would purchase both vehicles from us and apply the $****** of the used car he would sell us to our new car purchase but wanted the ability to purchase the vehicle he was going to sell us if there was a problem with the new car orders. On Oct 25 about noon, Autoworld rescinded its offer to purchase our cars

Thank you for reaching out.  I am familiar with the Bosco transaction and can provide some insight into what took place.  We did indeed send them an offer to purchase their vehicle.  Upon arrival, we inspected and made offers on the trades.  We agreed to figures on purchasing a vehicle and trading theirs in.  However, the customer wanted an unlimited time frame on what we would guarantee their trade in value to be while they waited on their newly ordered unit to arrive.  To explain: In todays car business, no one has any new car inventory for sale on the ground.  Most customers are having to order their car or place a deposit on an incoming unit.  The Boscos are no different, however they wanted guarantees I was unwilling to commit to.  Because of the type of vehicle they were ordering, I was not able to get a firm idea on when it would be built and delivered to us.  Without that information, I couldnt possibly guarantee a value for perpetuity.  I have customers that have been waiting for their car for a year.  Can you imagine trying to guess at what someones used car will be worth a year from now?  Nostradamus I am notAt that point both parties decided to cancel the transaction and walk away.  The Boscos were furious I was unwilling to accommodate their request.  I felt the request was unreasonable.  Hence the dispute that kept us from completing a transaction.

However, there is nothing wrong with our advertisement and their complaint has nothing to do with the ad.  We offered and stood by everything presented in the advertising offer.  There was no guarantee of time or anything of the sort in our advertisement.  It was simply an offer to purchase his truck at an amount based on book values and current market values.  The letter doesnt require a purchase of a vehicle and there is no catch.  But again, the Boscos wanted a guarantee that their trade would be worth that same value when their new car got here.  Its kind of like saying I want to invest in stock in Apple, but only if youll guarantee that itll be worth x amount of dollars six months from now.  Car dealers traditionally have a bad reputation. Our dealership works hard to be different from the perception.  We have owned this franchise for 3 years now.  When we purchased the dealership, it had a ****** review score of 1.8.  It is now 4.4.  ************ rating is 5/5.  Im proud of it because we have worked hard for it.  We got to where we are by doing what we say. I will never promise a customer something I cannot deliver on.  Sometimes that requires telling a customer no.  Unfortunately, the Boscos are not used to being told no.  I feel we did all we could to deliver for the Boscos.  Anytime a customer leaves unhappy, we lose.  I dont know what else we could have done in this case.

Please let me know if you need anything further to complete your review.

      Merry Christmas,

I am rejecting this response because:

      Regards,

      *************************

The statement is false. The salesman offered to buy my truck for 43K. While AutoWorld was processing my check, the salesman asked if I had another vehicle they could purchase from me. I stated I was selling my 2019 Corvette stingray with **** miles, the salesman stated AutoWorld would buy it. So I had my wife drive an hour to pick me up one way. I brought the Corvette to AutoWorld, they offer me 57K, I said yes to this purchased. I was at this time the salesman offered additional savings if I applied the cash offer for both vehicle for a new car, I said yes. We placed an order for two new car, the salesman told me it would *********** month for delivery and both my wife and I agreed and proceeded with the purchased. The salesman ***** that they also had a special program where they would sell us a used car while we waited for the two new cars, the price of the used car would be credited towards the purchase of the new cars. We agreed, when we went into the financial officer ******* the story change. The financial officer stated he knew of no program that would offer us to apply the used car cost to our new cars. We stepped out of the office and told the salesman that the financial officer provided us a different story. The salesman told us the financial officer was new and did not know the new program. At this point it was clear we where being abused, we told both the salesman and the financial officer we where leaving. As we where at the door leaving, the owner stopped us and talk to us by phone. The owner stated yes they had a program where a purchased from AutoWorld of a use car could be used as full credit towards a purchased of a new car. We asked for that in writing, and AutoWorld refused to put that in writing. We asked AutoWorld to honor the purchase our cars at the stated price they offered to buy my truck and corvette.. Autoworld stated they would only honor those prices only if we purchased a used(upsell) car from them. We left upset after spend a whole day with AutoWorld and at the last minute being abuse by the false ad AutoWorld had placed to bring us into the store in the first place.
