We hired Daniel G******* with IQC someone my husband had previously worked with and who we have mutual friend with. We paid a portion of the money up front, and he sent his guys to do the work, everything seemed to be going well, then he asked for another portion of the money which we gave to him because the work was getting done and we had no issues, then the issues started. Small things at first, the guys wouldn’t show up early they go some days not others. We had also given him $7500 for countertops up front because when you go to purchase the slabs, they don’t give you pricing unless you are working with one of their fabricators. He was one of them, so we went and choose the countertops, after they were chosen, he would have them picked up for fabrication and install. The date came and went and nothing, I called the countertop place asking if Mr. G******* had picked up the slabs, they told me no. My husband contacted him multiple times and he always had an excuse. There was one occasion when his guys showed up, and my husband was also there, so he asked the guys why are they not coming consistently to finish the job? The guy told him that Danny has not been paying on them and so they only show up when he pays them although he had already paid for this. To this day he returned only 3500 of that money and still owes us $3000. Paint was never finished and money was paid to him as well.
