In 2019 Amen Roof replaced the roof of my house due to hail damage and the business received the payments as agreed. A 5 years warranty came with the new roof and it will expire on 05/24/2024. At the time, minor final details of the roofing works needed to be taken care of and even though the payments were completed, it took weeks for Mr. ***** Grimmett, the company owner, to send someone to take care of the problems. Fast forward to December 2023. I discovered a problem with the fascia and soffit on the roof at the back of my house. Since the warranty is still in effect I tried to contact Mr. Grimmitt via phone on 12/01/2023 and even though I left a voice mail he never called me back. I then contacted Amen Roof both via email and text message on 12/01/2023 to have the problem assessed and taken care of, but since then I have only received vague answers to my texts. He said that he would send somebody on an unspecified day. Initially he took days to answer my texts, but after a week he completely stopped ansewering my messages. He never replied to my emails. This situation i very clear. I am wasting time chasing Mr.Grimmitt and it is very clear that his customer care is to say the least non existent. It is also clear that he has no intention of honoring the 5 years warranty. I have the need to have the roof repaired before additional damage occurs and i will be forced to hire another contractor and spend my own money to fix a problem under warranty. I am filing this complaint to have Amen Roofing honor the warranty or, in case this cannot be accomplished, to have Amen Roofing reimburse me of the repair expenses. I am attaching copy of the emails, text messages, warranty and roof damage. Thank you
