We were advised a lot and house by the Developer, in a new sub-division, was $294,500. When we submitted an offer three days later the Developers counter offer increased the price to $301,900. This is not only unethical but a poor business practice.

We paid cash for a display model in March of this year. It was early July before it was installed. Now it is almost November and we have had to get help from the state. The trim out was never completed and we have an open seam down the middle of our home. The promised skirting, new flooring, fireplace appears to be just lip service from ******* ********* Many repairs need to be done. The manufacturer ******* now the state is threatening their license is making some repairs but won't help with the big items they say belongs to Heritage Homes. Dismal experience and we feel very much abused and taken advantage of. Right now all we have is the hope that losing their license may inspire Heritage to step up. Even the commitments in the written contract don't appear to be worth the paper it is written on. Our advice if you have to buy here is make sure you have a recourse if they don't fulfill their obligations, like withholding payment until work is properly completed.
