The business sold me a car that had not been inspected and will not pass inspection and do not want to take care of the necessary issues to sale a vehicle it must be properly inspected at the lot before it can be soldBusiness response

In response to a complaint filed by ******* *****. ******* purchased a vehicle from us and at that time he took about a 30 minute test drive. He was gone so long in fact that I almost notified the police department here in Mt Pleasant. He had a very long time to inspect the vehicle. If there was any problem with the vehicle he would have had time to find this issue and reject the purchase of the car. All cars are sold, "As Is" no warranty and the customers are given notice of such at the time of purchase. He claimed several days after the purchase that the horn would not honk and did, therefore not pass inspection. Even though there is no warranty, I informed him that I would pay for the repair of his horn at my expense. Instead of having the horn repaired at my expense, he elected to report me to the BBB and the Texas DMV. I am sure he failed to mention that detail. I am also sure that he failed to mention that his cousin had previously purchased a vehicle from me and failed to pay for it resulting in a repossession. So his true motive for his complaint may not fully be what it seems.
