    There was a build (44x 70) that I purchased from Star Building on 10/20/2023. Once build was completed, I noticed that it was not the look that it was supposed to been nor height. The building was completed on 11/08/2023. Immediately after walking the building, I noticed a lot of things that was not correct on the build starting with the doors at which I sent out an email 2 weeks later in regard to repairs. I sent an email and pictures to @ ********************** whom is the company that I make payments to so they would be aware of whats going on. Star Building has come out to the property a total of 3 additional times but each time the contractors only added to the list of repairs that needed to be done and made matters worse. During one of the visits my French door was broken (walk in door) by their contractors, the paneling on the outside was pulling up, screws was not secure, doors not secure, windows leaking and building was flooding, all of which their contractors observed, since the last time they sent someone out it happened to be storming and he also witnessed the building flooding but yet did nothing. When I would call Star Building on a regular basis, my phone calls became unanswered, transferred, and then disconnected so I actually had to make a 3-hour drive to the location unannounced just to get a response and update from the company. Yet when I arrived and spoke to two of the supervisors that very well was speaking English to me , starting speaking Spanish to one another at which I stated to them if they can please speak in a way that I can understand. Eight months later and still no resolution and havent had contact with Star Building in quiet some time. This build has cost me more money than what its worth.

    We went out to customer Mrs. ****************************** property to inspect the building, after inspection we found the building was sound and being framed out and electrical run. This building only needs minor repairs that are covered by our workmanship  guarantee . We told ****************** that Star Buildings will replace the buckle bottom panel and readjust all doors to close and lock properly.
    As for the building leaking, the leaking is due to the water running down from Driveway, heavy rain water drains down to the side of the building, lack of drainage at base of buildings causes water to rise over the slab causing leaking under the base rail. Height of the building, Star Carports installed a building from a purchase review and signed from ******************, Star Carports is not able to make changes in height. 

     Possible solution option: After the inspection one possible solution is grading land drainage away from building, this should stop leaking from base rail, Star buildings and carports is not responsible for fixing leaking from the floor/base rail due to that is part of the slab foundation and rest solely on the customer and company that poured the slab, Star Buildings and carports is not responsible to remove the mud and dirt that is on half of the panels the customer is responsible for this.

    Star building and carports install the building on your level  slab, star building and carports offer a six-month workmanship warranty that covers the building itself and any leaking that may occur from the ceiling, side walls, doors and windows, leaking from base rail is not covered.

    After our representative **************************** spoke with the customer Mrs. ****************************** they came into the agreement to have Star Buildings & Carports come back and make the repairs mentioned above, ******************* understood that the rain drainage was due to the slope of the land and that was causing flooding.********************* clearly understood the agreement between them.

    Once ****************** informs us that everything is ready at the location where the repairs will be carried out, our team of professionals will travel to the location where the repairs will be carried out as agreed by ******************* and our representative.

    The 140 mph wind rating and 90-day warranty are false advertising and mean nothing to this company when their neglectful practice results in thousands of dollars in damage to a neighbor's property. The red barn in the photos was installed on March 12th, 2024, according to the sales reps ' recommendations. On April 1st, a storm with downburst winds (max ***** that day below 80mph) blew the barn into the back pasture of a neighbor. This company told their customer to "leave it, we will come get it," but they did not. The barn sat on its roof, unsecured, until the second storm occurred in the overnight hours of April 8th. During this second storm, the barn was blown into the backyard, causing over $70k in damages. Multiple attempts were made to communicate with the company to make this right, and supposedly, this was turned over to STAR's insurance, but no communication has been received from STAR's insurance. The homeowner or homeowner insurance should not be the one to manage this damage after access to the property to remove the barn was given and communicated to STAR for over a week, and they were informed that they (STAR) would be getting the barn before the damages escalated.

    I am the neighbor who incurred the damage. I was told by STAR this would be taken care of but they are no longer communicating with me in regard to the matter. We where informed that after the first storm on April 1st that if we attempted to remove the barn ourselves that it would void the 90 warranty for their customer. We made sure that the customer and STAR had full access to retrieve the barn, they did not. We also attempted to get STAR out after the second storm on April 8th storm remove the barn after the escalated damages. They "did not have a crew available". They did not send anyone out to clean up the remaining pieces of the barn until Friday, April 12th. We had to take it upon ourselves to dismantle the damages the morning of April 9th to prevent further damage to our property.

    I am rejecting this response because: I originally asked for the insurance information on April 29th, and was ghosted by your company. This was filed on my homeowners insurance, and my insurance received no communication, after multiple attempts, from your company until last week, when your insurance (not you, STAR) finally contact me after 6 month after the incident. We are still out uninsured damages and losses that your company will need to cover if insurance does not resolve. You have still not reached out to me directly after your reprehensive ceased communication after April 29th.

    August 2022 I put $2500 down on a metal shop and been lied to and disrespected by this company. I have emailed 3 times and called ****** 3 times and just received a message yesterday from ******?! I have had nothing but problems with this whole process, starting with ***************, who I originally placed the order with, to the issues with the installer being 4 hours late the first time, to the scheduler ******* at Infinity Carports arguing with me and being unprofessional! I asked ******* where doe she work and who her boss was and she tells me Infinity Carports then weeks later she is calling to schedule the install again but she is saying she works for Star? I just want my $2500 refunded as this has been such a headache!

    WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE A REFUND DUIE TO HIM SIGNING THE CONTRACT AND IT BEING ON CONTRACT THAT REFUND IS NOT AVAILABLE

    This company built a building that is far from sturdy. I can move the whole building with one hand. Their own building inspector came out and evaluated the building and agreed it is not acceptable. The company has not made any attempts to come fix it properly. They sent me a demand letter for full payment without finishing the building properly. The beams aren't even square, the screws are falling out, missing screws where they bored the holes too big, holes in the roof, lack of bolts on supports, ground anchors dug into the ground instead of installed properly, etc the list goes on. Also, they have added to the signed contract with extra righting with more money owed which I didn't sign for.

    so i understand your rejecting the response but when we first started the initiation of this order we did mention that these buildings cannot and will not be connecting and you still insisted 

    we did try to do the best we can do fulfil your orders but it just wasn't possible , aslo now your wanting for us to pay for our ground work which that's something we are not responsible for

    as i mentioned in the comment before our company lawyer said he will be contacting you regarding this matter 

    i do apologize about all the inconvenience and hopefully we can  get all this resolved soon

    I am rejecting this response because: the number one issue is the fact that the building is not stabilized, holes were put in the roof, ground anchors are left uninstalled, ground anchors were not even installed properly, etc. As I stated as a option is to walk away. I have already started having a company fix the structure as its been months with no response.

    Star Building installed a metal building 1 year ago. We noticed rust on the roof after 6 months. We contacted them about inspecting the roof. After going back and forth over the phone they sent out 2 different people to inspect the roof. Now, 3 months later, installers showed up and dropped off the material to replace the roof in my yard. It has been sitting in the yard for a week and no word from anyone.

    Beginning this journey with a price lock-in in February of 21, in the amount of ******. Star felt the need to go up on the price of the building 15%. An increase of $1800. I explained that I had a price lock-in, and asked me do I want the building. Saying yes though feeling like I had a gun to my head. One week later wanting to take my discounts in the amount of $1250, and saying they had no recollection of the conversation. Luckily the building broker saved me from being robbed a second time. The building was installed over a period of two half days. And from the last screw, was wrong. There was supposed to be a bottom color which was not. The soffit/facia trim is dented everywhere they put a s**** The studs dont touch the base rails in several locations. The end wall truss is not level, and bad cuts. This entire building which is 30x40 with 10ft wall was put up using a 9 torpedo level, which is a no no. The installers didnt speak good English and were wearing ************* shirts. I communicated with Star the problems with the building, to which they said they would fix. The same guys came out with only the correct color panels for the bottom of the building. I asked about the trim, studs, and leveling, to which they said all they had was the panels and no trim. Communicated with Star again about the trim and leveling and by this time noticed that all of the rubber seals on every s**** was split and needed to be changed. Star said that they would come out and change the screws. Then about the leveling told me that thats how they do it to adjust for level. I was confused as I have level base rails. shouldnt my studs all be the same length which would transfer level upward to the truss resulting in level truss. Truss on one side level. Measure between truss and base rail the same but yet studs not touching base rail. Opposite end wall inconsistent measurements and an un level truss. More and more problems show up the more I look at it. I want it fixed

    Good morning *********** so as i recall the reason why the price changed was because we only hold a building for up to 6 months so usually with a security deposit the price stays locked in for 6 months 

    another thing i do want to mention the installers are subcontractor therefor there is times that they work with other company's and that is probably why they had eagle shirts on but we did send someone out there to change screws panels and trim and we also offered a discount of ***** which you did not accept ..as far as the leveling on the ******* thats usually how they lift the legs up

    *********************. In reference to the price increase, I was told that it was increased because of the increase of the price of metal. Which is irrelevant to my price lock in. Direct employee or subcontractor, the people that put the building up did not level an end wall properly. The studs should be touching the base rails or be slightly off the base rails because my slab is level and that would transfer up to the truss. Stop trying to insult my intelligence. And the upper trim look like garbage. A better technique needs to be used for a better outcome. For you to ask me is there anything that you can do? Yes. Fix my building. A $1500 refund doesnt fix my building. If you are trying to be done for a dollar amount make a better offer not an insult.
