We paid to have a printer repaired by Canon 2 months and 1 week later the printer has the exact same problem. When we contacted Canon they said that the warranty had expired 1 week earlier. If it was a different problem I could understand their position but these large format printers should work for yeas. Its clear they did not solve the underlying problem and now want to change us 2000 again.Initial Complaint

I purchased this printer on 6/19/2021 for ***** at the ******* in ********* **. I also purchased the the 2 year service plan for **** at the cash register. I bought this because I was in the process of moving & would not even open the box for awhile. So once I got settled around the first days of September 2021, we finally open the printer & set it up. It would not print. We tried the next day, still nothing. So we waited for my oldest son to back to see us& see if he could make it work. (He has a printer that won't print of the computer, but it he sends it to his email this if will print.)Well he came & still could not get it to print. His printer has a wifi button that this one does not have. So I first called the phone number on the protection plan with my receipt attached, on 9/29/2021. I told them if I could not get some sort of technical support to make the printer work then I wanted a full refund or another printer. I Still need a functioning Printer. I was transferred to several different agents who finally told me to go to us.canon/support. This did not work. I have had to still continue to get charged at Office Depot to go get things printed, not including gas for each trip. I work ***** hours per week from home & do not have time to constantly stay on this. So last night, I called that same protection number to file a claim. The agent said he would send an email to file the claim after our phone call ended. As I follow through the email to file it claim, it just gives me another to call. I called & it was never answered by anyone. At the same time, I am also chatting with some other agent who is giving me another phone, telling me the printer is still coved under manufacture's warranty. I tried that number & still no assistance. This is an ongoing problem that I don't have time for the run around. I have a claim # ************ but still no assistance.
