PLEASE HELP! November 7, 2022 my elderly mother took my brother's Siberian Husky to Georgia's Pet Salon in Nash, TX to be bathed. She mentioned maybe wanting to rehome the dog. My brother works on the road and stays at my mother's when he's on layovers and has his pets at her home. She sometimes has cloudy or confused thoughts, memories, and actions. We did not realize the extent or ever think she would do this! She did this without my brother's consent and he is the dog's owner. Our mother is not the dog's owner and can't give this consent. The owner of Georgia's was contacted by my brother last week when he tried to tell her the truth and get the dog back, and she hung up on him! I, too, called her last week and was told she was coming on the line, but she put a male on the line who wouldn't listen and argued with me. I made the call in the presence of a Nash police officer who then asked to take over the call. The male and possibly the owner talking in the background refused to listen to the officer as well. During that call they tried to tell me some things that my mother supposedly said, but no matter what my mother told her, the bottom line is it is NOT her dog to rehome nor was the information they said she told them true. One thing they claimed was that no one was helping my mother with the dog which can be proven false with hundreds of pictures from my daughter and I going there every day sometimes more than once a day to love, feed, walk, play, and otherwise care for her. All we want is to get her returned home. The owner of Georgia's has been asked by multiple people to listen to the truth and return the dog promptly due to the suffering of both the animal and those of us who are devastated by her absence. I don't understand why she is clutching onto this dog now that she knows the truth. I'm wondering if she sold her! Please help me get Astrid back! I want nothing but to get her back. Please help!
